It's time for... The 5th part of Work at Rupture Farms! The rules are the same:
No original characters, like Molluck etc. Do not use other RPGers' characters.

if character says something: Character: "..."
if character does something: *Character ...* (you can use the 'story-telling' form, too)
if character thinks something: Character's Thoughts: "..."

If you want details, check the RPG rules by T-nex.

I guess it's not necessary to post our profiles here, with having the 'W@RF Profile Thread'.

Well, xx_xx_0dd, this is an Oddworld RPG, with the name of Work at Rupture Farms. It has been going since 4th October 2002 and this is the 5th version of it. I would like to recommend the previous four parts to you, to see what's this exactly about. Welcome to the Forums, by the way.

Now that I think of it, W@RF's going to be 3 years old tomorrow! Scrab Legs for everyone!

Hooray, 3rd anniversary soon! I suggest we begin part 5 tomorrow to celebrate this, and maybe incorporate into the RP the factory's 3rd anniversary of reopening. But I take it that current RPers need not repost their characters up as they are already in the profile thread?

When shall we begin? We must have sped up a lot in the last year or two, part 4 didn't last long!

it's like a soap! You can't always guess what's going to happen next, but it's always great at the time (and seems a bit rubbish when you look back after having forgot about it completely!)

Well Xodd, you should read some rules first... Go look for them at the top of this forums. they are all stickied

After that you just create a profile.

I'm new. I got a character right here------------------------------------------------
Name:Slicer (or Unit 117-3476)

Race/Species:Robotic (Not Alive)

Age:He was built 8 years ago, he is meant to be 22

Look/Apperance:He has a hologram projecter to fool mudokins into think he is one of them. He also has a voice chip to make him sound like a mudokin, and he baisically looks like a cold blooded killer in cyborg form.He also has a shotgun on him at all times.

Sex:Robotic (Male apperance in mudokin form)

Personality:He is an execution-droid, built by Glukkons to kill off mudokins. He also works as an executioner for mudokins who don't listen or are of no use to the the evil Glukkons anymore. He will make friends with the disguise if he has to trick some one.

Backstory:He was made 8 years ago by Glukkon scientists. He is an executioner. He is just starting to discover emotions, and is having trouble controlling them (like sudden outbursts of anger,hate, love, and others). He wants to over-throw the Glukkons, but they have control over him. Will he overcome them? He is going to need help to do it.

What do you think? And when do we start?

#7 Slig: "The Armory? Well, I guess it's in the Storage Room. That place is huge, there are many weapons in there."

He looked at the BlitzPistol.

#7 Slig: "Yeah, I guess there are better weapons than that. I remember using them at Basic Training back at the Barracks. Anyways, the Storage is not far from here, just down this corridor, it's a large, rusty door. You can't miss it. Hey, RG, wait up!"

RG-49 was marching into the Cafeteria.

RG-49: "The Boss seems OK."

He looked up at the chant suppressors.

RG-49: "Immediate success..."

Dek turned sharply around at Stivik's call, and rushged back in, not bothering to clean out the Scrab's tank. He reentered the main lab area to find Anni out of the chair, awake, and looking towards the door, while Stivik had a gun to her head.
"What on earth just happened? How did she get-but-I strapped her-she was asleep for crying out loud!"
He waved his arms in a panic at Stivik
"How? How did she get out!" He had never been in a stress like this before, his experiments always worked, the restraints never failed, and he didn't want Anni's brains splattered over the labfloor and himself faced with a lot of paperwork.

ooc: Seeing as Gretin said me and Boogie could control Sefon for this tedious bit, I will do so.
IC:
Arthur dropped the crates down again and again to Sefon, who was pilling them up down below. He took a break after the 10th crate or so, turning to Floyd and sighing
"We shouldn't be having to do this, my job's telling the manual workers when the train's arrived, not doing the unloading myself. And your job is a machine checker."
He shrugged and continued unloading the crates, wanting to get this done quick so they could hurry up and unload the machine parts off the new train.
ooc: Boogie, if you wish you can go ahead and skip the remaining unloading and just get them over to the grinder parts train quickly. Feel free to use Arthur for that, providing you don't have him speak much other than thanking Sefon or complaining about the work etc.

She suddenly turned her head towards Dek, and felt a hate and fear stream through her. She hesitated for a moment not knowing what to say. She was beginning to feel quite uncomfortable with Stiviks gun constantly on her head.

"Could you please not pint that gun on me? it's like i'm going to explode you or anything...." she said and rolled her eyes.

She looked around, not looking for anything. But she wanted to look at something else than the slig and vykker. Her eyes locked themselves on a cylinder filled with some liquid. She wondered what it was, and what would happen if she drank it. She shook her shoulders, and continued daydreaming.

OOC: Oops, I posted in Version 4! Okay, here it is:

Sev watched the little creature run off.

Sev:"Where the heck do they get those things anyways? They don't seem very sharp..."

He then looked around. That tube had taken him far into the facility. He decided to find out how Dek was doing with Anni and the scrab. He walked down the hall and eventually found an elevator. He pressed the button to call the lift, but it didn't come. He cursed and looked behind him. A hall marked "STOCKYARD SECTOR 5B" hung above it.

Sev:"Huh? Stockyards.... Ah well, maybe there's a detour through there to the med-lab!"

Sev headed down the hall. However, as soon as he did, a lightbulb under the sign fizzed back on. It illuminated the full sign which said,

STOCKYARD SECTOR 5B
ABANDONED DUE TO SCRAB OUTBREAK.
USE ELEVATOR.

Stivik: "I wouldn't be too sure of that." He turns to Dek, "She just used some mudokon power to make fire appear out of no where and burn through the restaints! How long has Vykkers Labs been teaching muds to do that?"

He should have gotten that place shut down while he had the chance. The Cartel had suspected that they were plotting something, but he hadn't been able to find any evidence.

Anni angrily sat back on the chair, with her arms crossed. She suddenly felt like crying... something she hadn't done for years. She felt helpless, and if the slig or vykker wanted to kill her they could. She could feel anger rise inside her too, and felt like she would explode soon. But she calmed down a bit and looked up.

"I think i know why..." she then said, and tried to think back.

She remembered being signed up for some new experiment, which they would then test on soldiers if it would succeed, but apparently they thought it didn't work, since they just stopped the experiment. But she kept her mouth closed. She hoped that the Vykker and slig had become intrgued enough not to shoot her or drug her again.

Dek looked at Anni intrigued, and he glanced at Stivik, quickly syaing
"As far as I know we've never taught them to set fire to things, but she seems to know. No offense, but sligs like you aren't very tactful ,so leave this to me."
he turned to Anni
"Well, Anni, listen. We aren't going to shoot or harm you, the only reason we ever strapped you up was to find more out about you. If you tell us why that happened before, you will probably be able to avoid getting experimented on. Please tell me why and how you did that fire trick."

"the only reason we ever strapped you up was to find more out about you." Anni repeated scornfully, and felt an even greater anger rise at those words.

If her pigment of the skin was fully funktional, it would probably have turned red. But she hesitated with doing anything untill she felt she could control herself. Then she opened her mouth but didn't say anything. She scratched her head and then spoke.

"Uh well they um... experimented... on um..." she scratched her head again, "Well i think they wanted to create some weird powers for some new special slig-soldiers.... I heard the Vykkers speak about it, while i was drugged... Um yea, and well they probably must have thought it didn't work, because i could never start any fire or anything. So they um.. got tired and sent me away."

She decided that she'd told enough, even though she had only told half the truth. She didn't like talking about any mental breakdown, so she didn't touch that subject.

"Uhm... but i don't know myself how i started the fire, so don't blame me!" she said, and then added lowly: "scum..."

Arnie looked at the approaching RG-49.

Arnie: "Hello there, RG. Anything new 'round the factory."

RG-49: "The two Mudokons I interrogated earlier seemed to be innocent, though I'm not convinced. I have reactivated some security measures of the factory, as you can see."

Otto looked at the floating chant suppressors, then back at RG-49.

Otto: "Are those junkballs supposed to be protecting us?"

RG-49: "Of course not, as I said many times before, it is my duty to protect the Executive staff of the factory. Do not worry about being attacked, Glukkon organic."

Otto: "Glukkon organic???"

He looked at Arnie.

Arnie: "Well, RG's right at some rate."

Otto: "That's fine, but what's with the manners?"

RG-49: "Manners are not in my primary protocols. Robotic Guard models don't need them that much. We obey and respect our Boss, and that's all."
