Artwork

Yay!
Here's my newest topic, which will be filled with fresh and brandnew vegetables...erm....artwork!
My first picture is a piece I called "Get out of my sight, Stranger!"

Stranger meets a wild Steef in a desert and get attacked.
I thought that wild male and adult Steefs are quite distrustful and would attack everything that gets closer to them.
This scene shows stranger's hidden identity.
In the meantime, everyone knows that Stranger is a Steef also. But how could the wild Steef know that? *shrugs*
I drew the wild Steef bigger because I wanted to make the scene look dangerous and exciting.

Done in Photoshop 7.0, 5 hours
I'm happy that I got time to colour it

Woah, you're a great artist! I've said this in other topics but I want to say it again so shmeh. That first pic is very dynamic and a great Photoshop pic, that second one is great, I take it it is hand-drawn? You are a good artist on the PC and normal drawing, I wish I was that good....Anyway, top stuff, keep it up!

Alector, yer drawings are erm... besides the fact that they're (ofcourse) gorgeos, they seem to inspire me to draw steefs too.(YaY!)
Why?
Because the anotomy you used in the second picture rocks.
I can explain further, but I'll be drawing instead.
So ehm... See ya.

Edit: And to clearify my opinion: Those're Friggin Sweet, Alector!

Moonlight Thoughts

Hi friends!

Finally, I managed to draw a new picture of a Steef. I'm addicted in drawing Steefs I know. This was a sketch I did in school and finished at PS at home.
A young Steef is relaxing at a warm summer night. How I miss it... *sobs*

Have fun

Wow! I finally finished the newest Steef picture! This is an adult Steef, who is roaring for freedom. The brown tones should remind on hot desert sun and warm dusks.
It took me over 60 hours to colour this picture. I hope you like it.

Roar of freedom

1st = sketch
2cond= finished picture

Have fun! BTW, I'm going tomake a tutorial of how to colour (Steef) horns
and I have a new picture, which will take ages too.

holy mother of Odd! that's one heck of a GOOD picture ya got there Alector, I jus' LOVE it 60 hours? Whoa kinda long time to make a pic, but if ya want something being well-made then ya really have to take yer time, believe me I'm taking plenty of time when I want me pics to be good as possible.

when I'm scetching the character it would take 'bout an hour, then the whole shading- stuff would only take half an hour to make. anyway I'm LOOKING forward to see MORE of yer art

TUTORIAL!!!

Hi friends, I finally did the tutorial of the Steef horns! Now you can see how I draw them in seven really easy steps. It's done in Photoshop.

Attention! This is a very huge file and takes a bit to load and makes the topic size a bit bigger!

Back to reality. I made up another Steef character. He's really young and does whatever he wants. LoboDiabloLoneWolf is going to find out a name for him. I can't wait for it!

Have fun!

*ahem* Okay, I've come up with a name.

*puts on impressive voice* From now on, you shall be know as....

Shyridon

Which is a corrupted verion of 'Sheridon', which means 'wild one' or 'wildling' in Irish, and that Steef definitely looks wild
