So let's see if I got this right. The ending was a little confusing for me.
Glukkons (like Sekto... Sekto was a Glukkon, right?) are actually parasitic, octopus-like-creatures who use animals (like the elder steef) as hosts so that they can move around out of the water...? Is that right?
Nope, but you are close. Sekto is an Octigi, a creature on the same liniage as the Glukkons. The Glukkons have complete bodies, while Octigi had apparently evolved beyond the need for a body and are simply small, skittering calamari.
The picture you linked to does not appear to depict tentacles, but a pair of scrawny legs. Sekto had tentacles. Unless I am somehow looking at the image incorrectly... :X

I agree here. But I never thought of calamari as a type of relation...O.o... I'll never see calamari the same way again, thats for sure... yea... Sekto is am Octigi.
