warings spam respect members closing threads post ranks

I'm feeling generous, and it's not like me to suppress information, so I'll explain things to you.
Warnings are the best system we have to deal with troublesome members. If you have any suggestions to make to revise this system, you are welcome to make them in FS&H where Alcar will analyse them without prejudice. The only people who ever have a problem with warnings are those that have accumulated a great many of them.
Spam is undesirable. Nobody reads it, it serves no purpose, it's simply not wanted. We can't expect the mods to constantly be sweeping it under the rug, so we do the kind thing for everyone and outright ban it. The only problem concerns its subjective definition.
Respecting members goes without saying. You don't have to like them or treat them like royalty, just don't be mean. People don't come online to be abused.
Closing threads is a simple way to stop people from posting in them if they are not needed or not appropriate. It's all too easy for defunct threads to descend into spam, so we remove the temptation.
If you don't like post ranks, then ignore them like I'm sure 90% of the Forum users do.
