I had a question about this pict here but i forgot it damm! it was this pict:



now i know again! Its the japanese back side of AE! or was it AO? no it´s Ao. this is funny . and it says "for japan only" I wonder why ok this is the story with the fingers I know. but why don´t we have this version, too? (ok let the different write out)

The covers for all the games in Japan were totally different... and renamed too. Abe's Oddysee was called "Abe A-Go-Go" and Abe's Exoddus was called "Abe 99".





I have been trying for so long to get the Japanese copies of the games... there were 2 copies of Abe 99 on eBay once... and some guy won both of them!!! Talk about greedy... you only need one copy!!! So I'm still looking.

why did they rename the games? 'Abe a Go-Go' sounds stupid, and has nothing to do with the game!

Perhaps it was thought that 'Abe A-Go-Go' would be a more apealing name to the average Japanese person.

The Abe '99 bottle look very cool. I wonder, did OWI draw/design those covers?

good question max. the coverof abe99 i found was a lil´bit different. I wanna have a copy too.

i wonder if lorne, who did most of the voices in the games, did the japanese voices, because abe would have an american accent(to most of u, he has an american accent, but its the same languge). or maybe he just kept the words in english... or had a japanese person do the voices. duz ne1 know the answer?

well *slurf* in the german version some german guy makes his voice just those words like ok aren´t translated. This voice is that stupied I dont like it. I prefer Lorne and thats the reason why I wanna have the english version! I wnna get it

i don't like the german voice of Abe... it's sound a bit doting....
