What's the longest time you've ever stayed up. I don't know if this is a remake of another thread. If it is, close it. so how long? I've stayed up for two days. Weak I know.

I did a few all-nighters at uni, but the fact is I like sleeping too much.

Maybe when I was travelling to England with bus. It took 25 hours to get there, so - obviously - we had to sleep on the bus. I had difficulties with that. Normally, I can sleep on vehicles, but I couldn't.

OK, maybe I could sleep 45 minutes, but I'm not sure.

Longest I stayed up was until like... 7 in the morning. I saw the sun rising and I got nervous for some reason and went to bed.

I've probably stayed up until like... thirty-six hours or so at the most. It was on a weekend, so it was aight.

What's really horrible is staying up for twenty-three hours two or three days in a row during the school week. Trying to finish all the English homework you've had since six weeks ago.

3 days, when I was 11. It was the day before my birthday and I was to excited to sleep. I didn't sleep on my birthday because I was up all night playing with my toys. And the next night I had a sleep over and pulled an all nighter.

I've gone for about 31 hours before. I woke up at 3 AM, had a sleep-over the next night, fell asleep at 10AM watching Dragonball Z and got up at midday. Not that long, but...

I once led on a camp where I stayed up for two 24 hour periods in the space of three days. And I didn't really get to catch up in that day in the middle. It was just one of those times when you're planning on getting to bed but things keep on popping up so you barely even notice how long you've been awake until you finally hit the pillow.

About 1.5 weeks. I fell asleep on the Wednesday (I started on the previous Monday). I usually stay up 48 hours before sleeping now, anyways...

Off memory I think it was something like 35 hours or something like that. But I do know that it happened in 1993. What happened was I couldn't get to sleep that night. And the next day I was going to the Royal Melbourne Show. So just as I was about to fall asleep, my brother got me up and we went to the Show. And we didn't leave until something like 9-10pm. So by working out normal wake up time, I figure it to be like 35 hours. Give or take a few hours I guess.

I think people should also point out how long they slept after these wakeful-marathons.

I once slept 17 hours straight, after a different camp. Got to bed about 11:30pm and woke up at 5pm the next day. And that night I still slept a proper night sleep even though I'd only been awake a few hours.

It usually doesn't matter how long I'm up for, I'm always asleep for roughly the same amount of time (about 8-10 hours).

When I was angry at my parents, I made a vow not to sleep. I stayed up for a week and a half before they gave in and raised my allowance.

Isn't it something like you'll die if stay awake for 6 days?

If so, a lot of you are dead...

A person can only survive 10 days without sleep. After which the immune system fails and any disease, germ or virus can and probably will kill you.

I think I went an entire night and two days without sleep once. My memory of that is sketchy, though, so my subconscious is probably lying to me.

I've been awake for 23 hours at most. It's not much, but I only got 30 minutes of sleep and was then forced to stay up the rest of the day. It's not much, I know.

A mere day and a half... probably less. Don't know. Somewhere around 30 hours.

I require an ungodly amount of sleep.
