Has munch's broken leg been scraped from MO's story? Cuz thats why I thought he needed the wheel chair but now its for speed!

I get my XBOX on the 15th from the same place as Chris! But my parental units are like "access denied until christmas"

FIRSTLY ... Chris and Jotch ... STOP SPAMMING. It is against the rules and we are seriously going to get tough on this in the very near future. Same goes for you PinkHaired (you should know by now). I have a mind to delete the spam posts in this otherwise decent topic on Munch, but then you won't be shown the error of your ways.

Onto this topic which is about Oddworld and there is no use deleting a good question. I believe that Munch will still have his leg broken in the beginning of the game, but you will get to use the wheelchair throughout the game. Or maybe the broken leg is just in the FMV. I'm just speculating though.

i asked Alf about this a while ago...
as i see it:
1. Munch breaks his leg
2. it heals a bit
3. he escapes
4. his leg is ok but his wheelchair still helps because he's aquatic by nature

I don't think the broken leg has been scrapped from the game. In the opening movie, he is captured by the Vykkers because his leg is caught in a bear trap (Correct me if I'm wrong Steel Shark).

I know i'm being a picky bastard on this one but it's not really a "bear" trap since I don't think bears exist on Oddworld

But i've only heard it reffered to as a Paramite trap or something only once and now I forget...is their really a name for it or is it just a regular unspecific trap?

I was awondering about that too. a while back it seemed positive that munch hade a broken leg to begin with and you had to get to raisin to heal it. Now i see gameplay clips at gamespot with munch a hoppin' around, savin fuzzles like nothin' else! and this is all in the lab setting where the first fmv(with the bickering vykkers) takes place! yaaaag! sooooo confusing! brain...meeeeelting!!!! oh well, two days til' i get munch and figure it all out. wahahahahaha!!!

I think it's a gabbit-trap, cause it had a gabbit call playing on it.

Yeah, I don't think that there are bears in Oddworld. I've just heard of it being refered to as a bear trap. I just thought that everyone would know what I was talking about when I said "bear trap".

It's a Scrab trap... Munch say it in the interview.

audio I noticed my foot got caught in a mean ol' Scrab trap and them big-headed Vykkers come to get me! That was pretty "odd." Those nasty no lipped pill poppers turned my family into canned goods.

1. it was called a bear trap
2. i asked Alf about it and he got scared
3. it was changed to a Scrab trap
4. i saw a little of MO's starting FMV where there's a little box playing Gabbit calls - so it must now be a Gabbit trap - or it's still a Scrab trap and Scrabs like to eat Gabbits
