Can Anyone Make Skins of Oddworld Characters for The Sims?

I haven't played The Sims 2 yet, but I do have fond memories of torturing the little people in the original game. I wonder, has anyone ever seen, or could anyone here create, Sims skins of Oddworld creatures? I realize that Sligs, Glukkons, and Scrabs are out because of their strange locomotion, but I think any of the bipedal Oddworld creatures would be do-able. Stranger, Abe, the Outlaws, the Clakkerz, and maybe Interns are possible. You could probably even make paramites and slogs as dogs and cats for the Sims 1 pet expansion pack.

So, is anyone here a skin creator for The Sims?

As The Sims is practically designed to allow users to custom make content such as skins, I don't think there's going to be any legal qualms to worry about. It's just a form of fanart.

There's a thriving Sims customization community on the Internet, and there are literally dozens of sites where folks make their own skins (mostly boy band members, unfortunately) and objects. There's no risk of legal action over the things; the Sims creators encourage you to customize the game, and as mellow as Oddworld is I doubt they'd care if anyone made Abe or Stranger skins. I guess there are no Oddworld Sims skins online at the moment, as my Google searches have yielded nothing.

Is there anyone here who is into the Sims and knows how to make custom character skins? I don't think Abe or Stranger would be any harder to create than any other celebrity; they're basically human shaped.

On a side note, I have seen two Oddworld skins for Quake 3 Arena: Abe (with several costumes, including the Mudarcher) and a Slig.

I don't play the Sims at all, but someone on the other forum showed me they has Sephiroth in their Sims game and I was like ... wow. And then they made their Sephiroth and Yuna get together for me.

They had this site which had skins for everything on there, probably Oddworld too. But I don't remember the link, and I can't be assed looking through a 100 page topic on ACF for it.

I made a mudokon Sim a long time ago, though I have yet to perfect a skin. Here are some screenshots for you!

(Phil in the editor)

(dancing like a dork)

Here are some tips to making it (and if you like, somewhere I can upload the skins I have, though I want to make improvements).

-in the editor, you can change the sim's facial features, but they can only be deformed so far. HOWEVER, if you save a face deformed as far as it can go and then open the editor again and clone it, you can get it to go even further. This is how I made a mudokon face, by deforming the eyes and making the nose and chin almost entirely nonexistent.

-For the hair I'm still having trouble, but I took the hair of the bald guy and colored all but a strip the same green, so that he had a strip of hair left on the back to simulate a ponytail. I'm looking for a meshed ponytail though, that would be better.

-for the skin, make sure to get all the views and ages... that was my problem. Now I can't let Phil, my sim mudokon, grow old because he'll turn flesh-colored. You can add whatever sorts of wrinkles and mottling you like in any paint program.

-For the loincloth, I just changed the color of his swimming trunks to brown.

I hope this helps!

I actually made the nose as flat as possible, and then imitated the wrinkles on the actual skin, so it'll look weird at first before you apply the right skin to it.

I'm very impressed by your Mudokon Sim, Sapphire! You recreated the facial features extremely well, and your ponytail is pretty convincing. My only suggestion would be that he have the Mudokon's pale belly and mottled skin, rather than a solid green.
