I just found out that T.V. Land shows Macgyver reruns over break and I've been watching them pretty much every day that I wake up around 10ish. Go make a bowl of cereal, watch Macgyver pull some mindblowing solutions out of his ass and shower up. Anyhow, Richard Dean Anderson is the effing man. Did any of you watch Macgyver or Stargate SG-1 growing up? I watched them with my dad a lot when I was young.

My Science teacher love's Mcguyver. I personally, have never seen the show, but during tests, he'll walk around with his hands in a "gun" shape and whisper "Will Mcguyver find any cheaters today?!" and other things of that nature.

It's quite funny.

Ah, shit. I remember watching that all the time, back in the day, but I more recently fell back on my Stargate SG 1 up to dateness. The guy's always provides good entertainment, though. I'm a fan.

I used to watch in when I was a kid. I can't remember anything of it though, except for something weird involving lava.

Short answer: Macgyver is Richard Dean Anderson, who is also Jack O'Neil on StarGate SG-1. He is your daddy.
Long answer
Macgyver is the bastard love child of a do-it-yourself scientist and world wise detective. In every episode Macgyver would use his brains to foil his enemies, usually by saving someone's life with a jury-rigged device, or escaping doom with a jury-rigged device or creating a jury-rigged device to use as a weapon distraction, etc. He is the patron saint of all things kludged.
