i just rented SW, and my xbox wont read it.
when it does it gets up to the part where the cguy chasing stranger gets his gun cought by the fuzzles and they attack him.
then it skips for a couple seconds and "There's a problem with the disc youre using."
WHYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!

this should be in oddworld help or suggustion or help, hmmm, that is a problem, maybe the disk is dirty? Did someone touch? or did you open in a play it? What a tragedy.

its not the disc... its the xbox, it wont load anything i put in it....

Yeah, every cutscene on Stranger skips for me. Rather badly, too. It doens't completely stop the game though... It is just really annoying. Gak.

Mabye it is Odd telling you to buy the stinkin' game... 'Hey- we need to eat too ya'know.'.

My xbox was dying a few weeks before I got the game...
and it totally died one day after I finished the game.

i got it to work, and like super munch said, the cutscenes are skippy. but atleast im at the secto spider thingy...

well, when boilz came to town, i entered the invincibility cheat... so that explains it...
i just beat the game too...
now i've got nothing to do....

just go to the other side of the street and find the extra ammo
then run in a hidout and shoot lots of fuzzles to prevent outlaws getting to close
then take them down

I did it in 15 mins

I don't think Boilz was hard. Couple tries and whoop, there it was.
Packrat was a little harder ^_^;
But invincibility is the worst cheat, it ruins the game experience the most.

I once tried the cheat codes for fun, but I didn't use them in my game. I was just testing if they would work. But playing the game first time and with invincibility cheat... that really ruins the experience. I have been playing it for hours and hours and trying to find everything that there is to find. But everybody has their own ways ^_^

Oh well this is an easy solution! Simply go to the store buy a new Stranger. Unless you live in the United States its only $40.00. But I know a place in my neck of the woods where you can get games cheaper with the same quality.

Ha, I seriously read that as a solution to defeating Boilz Booty: go into the General Store and buy a new Stranger! Super!

Anyway, this should really go in Oddworld Help. If anyone has an Xbox that's not properly playing games, you should contact Microsoft's helpline, or email them, or such.

You know I never thought of it, but now that you mention it, my cutscenes DO occasionally skip right in the beginnings of them. It's only for a second, but it's still a bit annoying... I didn't think anything of it until now.

Dude- DUDE! I'm conciousely(sp?) waiting until I finish the game 15 times before using cheats. Shame on you!

I beat the game in about 13 hours. 2.3 of those hours were me screwing around in towns, especially the early Grubb town.

Now you must buy the game...

you should try using body spray on the disk. due to its alcohol content it works just like a disk wipe. it worked when my fable game was broken.
