I noticed a set of doors just across from the bathroom in the farmhouse- anybody ever managed to open those?

Unfortunatly no, I haven't, I'm not even sure if you can. tried millions of times. It comes to the concluson, you cant open them.

Maybe it's just the Clakker's panic room... I wondered because of the loot stashed in odd spots...

Those doors opposite the bathroom are where the clakkerz go when you start beating them up.

For a fun trick start beating on the clakkerz to force them into the panic room. Wait by the door and punch one towards the fire as it comes out. If you keep punching in the right direction, you can actually get the clakker stuck in the fire. You can do this with several of them and the farmer too.
