Blisterz Booty's Gun

Is the gun behind Sekto in this shot the same as what Blisterz uses in his hunt for Stranger? I apologise for the crappy picture of Blisterz, but the only one I could find was from the Trading Cards at Oddblog...
If you look, both have the (seeming) exact same tally lines, and as observed in the opening movie when Stranger breaks Blisterz' gun, both guns also have the spherical shape near the handle thing.

The thing is, Stranger broke the gun... so what's it doing with Sekto?

It is possible, but then again it could be an unfortunate victim of lazy texturing.
Or maybe, Sekto put it back together?

Great spottin Esus. You right, how can this be? Well you know they might be more lines than just 5, becuase we can't see what's behind Sekto's Head.

I think those tally marks are probably the signature put on guns made by a company and that they are just by the same manufacturer. If not, like Godlesswanderer said it was probably just a texturing loop hole.

it looks like a representation of the number of Steef killed with that particular gun..... mabey Blisterz' killed 5 Steef.... mabey that's why he's so popular with the outlaws? Notice that all the early outlaws and some of the later ones all mention Stranger capturing Blisterz.

but I would think that Sekto has killed considerably more Steef.....

Yup, OWI just reused the same gun twice, it would be a waste of time to retexture it for such a small scene.

This is interesting, because didn't Bootylicious' card say that one of his pet peeves would be to have been captured by a Steef? It may be that Blisterz is a Steef hunter himself, and being captured by his own quarrey would be the most humiliating thing ever for him.

It seems OWI had released that info before the game came out. Maybe they were trying to fill in some holes that the game didn't explain in detail, and leave them for us to decipher.

Yes we would all love for there to be a deeper meaning to the tally marks, but it probably was once again just lazy texturing. Don't get me wrong I love your ideas, but it's highly unlikely that its true.

At a guess, I would say this was solely because he gets captured by a Steef in the -then released- opening movie.

Yeah that was probably just sort of like a hidden hint. I can't believe I didn't notice that earlier.
