there comes a song (or songs) that fit a character or storyline. what songs fit your chars or story?

Oh, man. None of the music I would listen to would fit Oddworld at all. Maybe if I had an original composer and a recording studio I could show you what I'd want, but I don't, so i can't.

If anything though, it would probably be something by Einstendurzen Neubauten (I think I butchered the spelling). They're a good German (obviously) band.

I once did an Oddworld re-make of the song tragedy, to fit one of my stories (in fact, I'll post it here)

(To the tune of "Tragedy", you know, the really annoying song)

Lights are low so all you can see are the silhouettes of 10 mudokons in disturbing poses and the large-backed chair that seems empty.

Music starts up into verse 1:

(Mudokons in really high voices)

Verse 1
We’ve been sent to a lost and lonely part of town,
Vykkers Labs is a great big place that makes us frown!
We wanna go home
But we can’t do it on our own:

I have had various other ideas for actual songs but really i haven't got anywhere with it. Uh... "Next Life" by Suade (Now scrapped cause it wouldn't work)... 2 Christian songs I was gonna use until i realised no one would have heard of them... There was a song from Lord of the Rings but it was like, 5 lines long in the middle of loads of music, part of which is a recognised LOTR tune... There was another song from another film, can't remember any more but the same problem...
I dunno. The original idea with the "Splat" trilogy (eg, Splat, Amy...) was to have a song in each but the idea kind of died... Ah well, #you never know just what the future holds...#

Everytime I listen to Tool's "Eon Blue Apocalypse" or A Perfect Circle's "A Stranger" and "The Outsider" reminds me of Stranger/Steef.
