I completely agree with you Alpha, a non-oddworld RPG would be sutable. but this has already been said in RPG suggestions thread, but no one is doing anything about it.

thank's oddish it is time for history to be made like for example apparently everyone is born equal yet kid's don't have as many right's , i know that sound's stupid but the point is unlike the campaign for equal right's among all people is failing if this one begin's let's hope it doesn't fail too.

lately, i've thought that it could be fun with a non-oddwolrd RP-forum. I think it should be done, even if it will become more popular than oddworld-RPG forums.

I say no. The RPG is not active enough to waste time and money making a subforum. If the RPG was super active, like in the old days, we could have 3.

Main RPG
Non-main RPG
Non-oddworld RPG

Unfortunately, the RPG will never be as active as it once was, NEVER.

No. People can post non-oddworld RPG's in the NOAAL forum. There is no main RPG and there are only five active RPGers.

. Anyway I love the RPGs. My comp was so slow once that the RPGs took forever to load so I left them. And whats the point in a sub-forum? We could easily rename it to ''RPG Section'' and voila! Any RPG can be made.

I've always been against adding more forums, or other things which aren't particularly necessary. At the moment, RPG is crawling along, and just about dead. The addition of a new forum would do nothing but make it look pretty. And yes, we have had this discussion before

Doing an non-oddworld RPG will gives more freedom about doing what we want to role play. We have more choices and diffrent storys. Oddworld is only one series, and think of the possibilitys if we could choose any series or RPG we want to play,we would have more interesing RPG's that people would want to play.(halo,fanalyfantasy,starwars,ect)

It would realy cool if the OWF team have enought moolah to produce a real online oddworld RPG game, or an online game.

Yes. Non-Oddworld RPG's go into Non-Oddworld Art & Literature. It's just an unspoken rule. Which is why we don't see fit to add a seperate forum.

One of the reasons we changed the initial name of Non-Oddworld Art & Literature was because it was to encompass all non-Oddworld works. Being the Oddworld Forums, we put most of our effort into making it suited towards Oddworld fans. The fact that a non-Oddworld Art & Literature forum exists is in itself a compromise for those talented people who don't want to create Oddworld related stuff.

Basically, it'd be creating a useless forum, filled with very little - not to mention, not Oddworld related.

Not really. We could agree to have some sort of mark in the title that shows its an RPG. Or all RPG threads could be made sticky. It wouldn't be a problem.
