The weight of a single cannon on a large (pirate) battleship depended on the type of the cannon and it's calibre. The weight of a cannon varied in the 17th century from 635kg / 1398,68lbs with a 77cm / 30,31inch calibre to 2041kg / 4495,59lbs with a 177cm / 69,69inch calibre.
Recently there was salvaged a cannon from the "HMS Bounty", this cannon has a weight of 850kg / 1872,25lbs
