Fantastic game, though. I'm loving the strategic aspect of bagging the bounties.

Oh, and the lush environments, and sound...Hell, I just love the game period.

I'm fairly disapointed with the voice acting though. In past games it's been tolerable, hell, even enjoyable...But the Clakkerz stereotypical southern drawl does nothing for me...Nor does stranger's lack of intelligence.

I do like his character animations though...Very smoothe, they are.

Yeah, this one is infinitley better than MO. Then again, I didn't even really like MO cos the regular graphics are just decent. But the cutscenes are incredibly smooth like always. Anyway, definitley buy Stranger's Wrath...now

Oh, believe me, I have plenty of gripes...But the game is enjoyable and challenging enough to temporarily put them out of my mind.

As far as the manual is concerned, it seems that more and more games are taking the black and white route these days....Which sucks. Like you, I enjoy reading the instruction manual immediately; but when it's in black and white it feels cheap, and somehow less important.

This game is nothing like MO, however, and comparing the two is like comparing opples and oranges.

You know what the problem is?? Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Sweden. All of you people LEARN TO READ ENGLISH, AND SAY THAT YOU ONLY PLAY THE GAMES IN ENLISH LANGUAGE. Maybe one day we will also just have a standard language for the games, so that America and Europe will have the same release dates.

But on the other hand, we always get the latest version: know bugs are taken out, sometimes we get extra's (mgs for example) etc. It has it's pro's, but there are more cons sadly.

Stop gripeing on who is getting the game first. For one It makes logical sense that a US made product should be sold in the US first.

I love the game I picked mine up at 1:30 yesturday. Got home and spent all evening playing the game. I have to say this game is awesome. I mean the moment you start playing, the levels are so lush and massive. I am glad there is no spooce shrubs everywhere. It really does bring back the old Oddworld look to the landscape in many ways. It took me a little bit to get used to switching batween third person and first person mode and controling the live Ammo but I now have the hang of it. You see I was so used to the Munch controls that it sort of threw me back when I jumped into the game. X is gamespeak and pretty much the controls are slightly different then previous Oddworld games.

That is a minor throw back I have on this game aswell maybe to much dialog boxes poping up every now and then. Other than that the game overall surpasses Munch by a whole lot.

THIS GAME IS THE BEST GAME EVER! I honestly think this is an awesome approach for Oddworld! I hope they make another Stranger game (and of course continue the quintology). Dude this game could kick Halo's arse ^_^

Ah, yes, it's an incredible game, all right. I wake up at 5:30 every mornin' now to play it!
My 5-year old sister will only let me play it for 2 1/2 hours, though. She can't stand a single day without her stupid Kirby Air Ride game... *Killz Kirby*

This game is amazing. I love Live Ammo, and the ability to switch back and forth between first and third person perspectives is awesome. And what a challenge to bring in all the bosses in alive...it's extremely rewarding.

Sure, you can see shadows from the other side of a wall...and my camera got stuck once or twice. Here's the thing though, I seriously think Halo 2 had more glitches, but people still say it's the best game ever because it's so darn popular.

Halo 2 can go to hell. OSW seriously just tops Halo 2 in my opinion.

I went out and bought it today. It's pretty good.

The sound in the game (including the scratchy, over-compressed voice acting) is terrible. I don't care much for the shadow "clipping" either.

However, besides those two things, I don't have many problems with it. The humor is good, the gameplay is great (I love hunting down enemies and ammo), and for the first time since AE, Oddworld feels like Oddworld again. The atmosphere is superb. Some of the best scenery on the Xbox, even.

So, yeah, pretty good game. Huzzah! Reconciliation for MO, to say the least.

Damnit. I almost caught Boilz Booty alive. SO close. I had to kill him because I couldn't take any more hits. Oh well.
