Question How many Muds did you save in AE and AO

Just out of interest, as I am playing AO again.

I think mine went something like this: AE: 292 or something
As for AO, I'm not sure. So how did you guys score?

yeah, there's a bug in AO that tells you that you've saved 100+ muds. Or possibly there are more than 100. I don't know.

I think I played both games level by level, first on my own then with a walkthrough so I wouldn't have to go back and do it all again to get perfect quarma. That said, I've replayed it many times since.

The Explaination: Due to a glitch of some strange nature, I was faced with the challenge of rescuing 100 other slaves, besides Abe. When I saved the final employee, the counter read: Employees: -1.

Yeah same thing happened to me, but when when I beat the game again it was only 99 employees. As for the games I've got perfect on them all after many tries without use of a walkthru. Know I just use the cheats and explore the levels daily

Which is why I think that its intentional on OWI's behalf and not a glitch. Speaking as a computer programmer who has dabbled in graphics, adding the capability to display negative numbers is unnecessary extra work if you aren't intending on using it.

Cool. I think it will be very hard for me to get all 99 un AO.
Furstrating:- Rescuing 299 or something in AE, just 1 off. Yes, I agree with Oddish, you were so close.

All in all, I've rescued 426 Mudokon Scrubs, 118 Fuzzles and 75 crates of Labour Eggs.

What's more, I've managed to get through Munch's Oddysee killing a bare minimum of 11 Sligs. I really do have Archangelic Quarma.

Sounds cool how does this glitch happen? (I know that might not make sense but you know what i mean)

Yup, I'd love to know how you get this glitch to work: I surely wouldn't mind having rescued an extra Mud to compensate for that one who falls to his death in AE. Isn't it something to do with backtracking in the first level?

The 'glitch' is not something you try and do. Just save every single one (use a walkthrough to make sure you have got them all) and maybe it will happen.

My first time through on AO and AE, I didn't get perfect. It took me a second time to get perfect on them. Now...the first time with MO was Angelic Quarma.

I've saved all of the muds in all three games and got less than 50% on all three also just to see the bad endings. I've yet to get black quarma on MO, though.

The glitch with Abe's Oddysee is certainly news to my ears, in that I haven't heard about it before. Though it does intrigue me. Any save files that you could go back to, take a screenshot or two, and possibly upload the actual save file? (if you're using the PC version)

As for Archangelic Quarma, I gave up not trying to murder Sligs and regrowing every Spooce I could. It got SO tedious.

The bad ending movie is waaaay worth it though. I laughed so hard when I first saw it. I think it was the crazy fuzzle that jumps in the air and goes "Wheeee" that really cracked me up.

SPOILER *** Check my website (go to 'endings') to see the prove, or get the savegames in the download section). *** SPOILER

Its pretty tough to kill all the fuzzles cos you can't pic them up and throw them off cliffs like the muds. You have to lead them in to mines or have them attack sligs - but you have to do it one by one otherwise they'll kill it.

AO: Currently 47
AE: Currently 56
MO: Perfect Score all fiddy times 'round.

Ok, Ok, I know what you're all thinking. "She hasn't beat AO or AE?!?" I watched my dad beat it, and I was 7 at the time, and not too bright when it came to games. I had wised up when I was 10, but by THAT time, MO was being released, so... no time again. I've tried beating the two before, but the games are worn out and shut down after one level and during the beginning of AE. I'll probably never get around to beating it....
