Drunk new slig game

hi every one, this is my first ever post. I am a great fan of sligs (there so cool) and with being so i would like to make a slig game. I know some of you will be saying "already been done" but i mean a game that is just as good as the first oddworld game. I know it would be hard and heres what makes it harder:
1, i dont know how to make a game
2, i have no money
3, i dont understand the code stuff
4, its hard enough as is it to make a game like this
So if anyone knows how i could pull this off without using to much money then please help. If im just talking crap and this cant be done then also say cause i always thought of it to be a good idea.

Welcome to the forums rockin slig.

A game?Like Drew the slig's games? I have no clue about bulding a game. I don't how your going to make one. (I'm so useless)

Edit: rockin slig, you mean screenshots? try some OW sites. If i as you, i would probaly make my own backgrounds.

I use Game Maker 5.3 for making games. Currently making a 2d plaform and although has nothing to do with Oddworld I am also planning to make an Oddworld game.

www.gamemaker.nl

It's completely free and if you download the tutorials and learn as much as you can it can be really easy to use and make great games.
