New Moderator Nominations...

As to not waste any more time, we are now opening nominations for moderators [1 position for each of the following forums].

Open Positions
- Off-Topic Discussion
- Fan Corner
- Non-Oddworld Art and Literature

Red Muse will also take over as RPG moderator as Hobo is stepping down. No voting will be held for this position, as Muse has been the assistant of that forum for some time now.

Rules
- You may nominate yourself or someone else.
- If you are nominated by someone else, you must post in this thread and accept your nomination, otherwise it will not be accepted.
- Nominees must have been a member of OWF for at least 12 months.
- You may not "overly" promote yourself, although a comment in a sig is fine, but no topics asking for people to vote for you, etc are not allowed.

Nominations will be open for two weeks [until August 19], after which a vote by PM will be held, running for a period of one week.

Yes this is good for the forums we need new people and yes a month back I decided to retire my position as Asst Mod in FC for reasons that premote or share the position. A year and a half ago from today when I was elected Mod I stated aswell that I will give my position to someone else when the time is right and that time is now. Its been a pleasure to serve as a Mod for a little bit and I am happy to go back to member status which for me I feel is better because everything I want to do in FC and Non Oddworld doesn't really require mod status. Mainly I want to have my own individuality in FC and Non Oddworld so go ahead the Asst Mod position is open for grabs.

Fan Corner is fine, but I would rather do NOA&L. Then again, I would have to run against ferill. Being FC mod means I have jurisdiction over NOA&L too, right?

I also nominate myself for Off-Topic. Like I've said before, if by some freak accident I won two mod positions, I would decline one of them to the 2nd place winner. I'm not greedy.

As for Fan Corner, yes, it does encompass NOA&L, although, you'd have to actually post Oddworld related fan material if we were to even consider you. Afterall, if the people voted in, are there based on simply popularity, we will decline them.

I nominate myself for fancorner cause that is basically where i started my time in the forums and cause i enjoy looking at other peoples stories and would spend as much time as i could doing so. Oddworld forums is my life and my homepage!!!
