I was told only last Saturday that layered cakes are no longer just for weddings. The theory expressed was that it's easier to make multiple cakes and layer them in to one than to make one big cake (and classier than having multiple individual cakes). I just think it's because cake makers want to be able to charge more for birthday cakes.

Off the top of my head I can think of three fluids that won't require any sort of self-harm. Only two of those would have something to see under the microscope. So I say yes!

You could make it a game. You post images of a bodily fluid and we have to guess where it came from.
