It is, thats just a comparison between the 2. One with the slig, one with abey. I cant get there with Abe any more, but for the slig you get 2 steps away then run and walk at the wall.

Sorry, Chubfish, I had to mess around with your thread. We already have a topic for sharing glitches, and music videos belong in Fan Corner. Watching those glitches was quite strange. In particular, the last clip confuses me. Where does it take place, and why are there spirit rings emerging from nowhere?

I think the last one used to be in the PS demo intentionally to stop the player from going further. If you'd manage to get past those mines and the flying one that circle would just blow everything up to end the demo. After that are the splash screens of the game showing off a few more locations and possibilities.

I suspected as much, but I didn’t remember any spirit rings or floating bomb, just a screen full of land mines (which I couldn’t see in the video). I thought maybe my PS demo was different, but I checked, and no. It’s just my memory (and my creaky old PlayStation) that’s playing up.

I put that there as an ending deliberately...looked pretty cool though!

EDIT: Got another glitch video...but its for all the Scrabania glitches!

by the way, with the part where there is a flying mine in your way...one advice
just use abe and then run jump. dont go up when you are on the ledge, until the xplosion is cleared. you dont die from it. less waste of time (+ rocks if you have)

I think the Scrabanian Nests one is screwed up, since the music stops half way through...ah well, doesn't matter really. But anyway, if you really want to know how to do some of the hard glitches like the mines glitch, just ask me...

My brother found outhow to force the color changing glitch while possessing to happen. If you're playing on a PC you just possess a scrab or a slig (etc.) and quicksave at the moment the creature's being possessed (a millisecond before Abe takes over). Then load it again and it should look bright green or similar.

That's on both versions. Paramites could do the same thing.

Wired Oddworld glitches are hilarious!

I finished playing AO and AE, used the cheats, found some glitches and everything.. I play it over and over again

I got a little bored, so I downloaded the demo you can find on Oddworld.com, hoping to find something interesting

Fortunatly I did

If you didn't download AE demo, download it now! I found a really funny glitch

In Abe's Exoddus, just go behind the Slig, and slap him.. he will say "What?" you will notice he had gone a step forward (This happen in the demo only!)

step forward (must sneak) and slap him again
Keep doing that, you can go to the other screen!

And by the way, there is no quick save in the demo... there is normal save only and it sometimes make errors


I would like to post a video of it, but I have no program to record movies

Good glitches. I know and try only the Slig Barracks glitch, but I don't think it has to be called "glitches", it's only a way to pass that area.... Anyway good work.

Download the file, copy it to you abe's exoddus folder (default c:\program files\abe's exoddus), then run the game, and load game from save called falling...
