Those were not good villains. Their design was so impossibly unimaginative and ridiculously unthreatening that I was tempted to stop watching every time they were shown. Thankfully, their screen time was minimised by the camera being all over the place and covered in pointless blurring for most of it.

Ench has the right idea. The monster was the worst thing about that episode. It was really tacked on, and only justified when they said that the TARDIS was "leaking time" in that scene that was reminiscent of Red Dwarf's Future Echoes.

I thought it was the best episode so far. I loved how the TARDIS was messing with them, creating mazes ect. And yeah I've always wanted to see the other rooms so i wasn't disappointed.

I didn't care for the monsters though, at first, I thought it was going to relate to something secret about the Doctor.

Yeah, I thought so, too. I was disappointed how we only got glimpses of rooms and weren't able to explore them, most of it was in corridors. Kind of reminded me of Castrovalva.

I thought the monsters were a good idea but the writers could have had a better reasoning for putting them in. I dunno what the alternative was but never mind. Still, better episode than 50%-60% of the shit they've churned out in the last couple series.

I thought it was a reasonable episode. I was disappointed that they did an episode themed around exploring the TARDIS, but didn't really contribute anything new to the canon or history of the program. Also, I hate deus ex machina endings, even when they're signposted and done tongue-in-cheek.

Also, why the hell would the Doctor keep his name written down in an easily accessable book in a TARDIS that has been invaded by villains on multiple occassions?

I enjoyed today's episode, although I hated the CBBC acting from those annoying kids at the end. I'm actually excited about next week's episode, but I despise the new Mondas Cybermen design.

To be fair it is sort of hard to say "Wasn't that you in an old photograph" without it sounding old or cliche, come on that happens in every single time travel movie ever. I mean look at any of the Soap Operas or blockbuster TV shows, they say the same things over and over all the time, because there's only so many ways to say something.

I thought today's Doctor Who episode was okay, some of it was a bit predictable but there were a few funny moments at least. Mr Sweet was the biggest twist, I was expecting him to be just a 'fake name', boy was I wrong.

I think it was very well done. It blends horror and Sci-fi lIke the mid-late 80's episodes did,and I thought it would have sat very well as a classic episode.

It was crappy and jumped all over the place. The best thing was the inclusion of Jerusalem. Does everyone else agree with how awfully forced Strax, the lizard and that damn girl are?

Looking forward to the cyberman episode. Gaiman is writing, and I have hopes for it to be the strongest in the entire season.

I'd like to just hear the new cybermen voice, fingers crossed they've changed. I agree about the bloody Sontaran and Silurian though, why put them in? You don't need them and they're such worn out characters. The bloke who kept fainting did make me laugh though.

The Cybermen voices were inspired by The Invasion, I thought they were pretty good.

Still prefer the ones from Tomb of the Cybermen and Moonbase the most followed closely by the Wheel in Space ones, spine tingling!

It's not all lost, I have four of the episodes on DVD. I think the audio for all of it still exists.

Well...that episode could have been more than it was. Slightly underwhelming but at lest the cybermen look a little different. Shame they're basically robots now though instead of cyborgs.

Also, hah, they weren't really Mondasian, Nepsotic.

E: They are Mondasian. You can tell because the parallel ones have the C on them. In fact, two of the display Cybermen had that logo. And they were too robotic before, this time no less or more. Maybe a little more. At least the originals were fucking cyborg.

New episode was a let down, though I didn't expect too much anyway. I like the faces of the new Cybermen, reminds me of the classics, but the rest of the design is shitty. The episode was mediocre and I hate those fucking kids. This entire episode was like the fucking Sarah Jane Adventures.
Next episode doesn't look too good, looks like another shitty season finale like last years.
Also, River Song again? She's overused to shit.

I just thought the ending was shit because it's the same old shit, 'planet blows up but one ship escapes', also the terrible sub-par acting from those kids, it always sucks when there are children in the show because it means that there's never any real danger. Also...super speed cybermen, bleh.

The acting was horrendous, but the worst thing about them was the writing. "You're stupid and I hate you!" *Picked up by Cyberman*.
Retarded acting and writing.

Not to mention that they kept saying the bomb was going to create an implosion and then...explosion at the end. Also why was that shitty platoon equipped to deal with cybermen when the war ended 1000 years ago? Oh, and the fact that the emperor of the universe was sat in a defunct cybermen waiting for someone to pass-by on a dead planet...

Good one guys, gooood one.

Well that was a clusterfuck of shite. Only stuff I enjoyed was the Doctor vs Mr Clever, and only when Clara wasn't there interrupting for no good reason. Next week's villain's are guys with pantyhose over their heads.

That was a pretty blatant reference to The Mechanical Turk. Seriously, the moment I heard someone mention chess in an episode that I knew starred Warwick Davis, I knew what was going to be under that cloth.

I thought it was an okay episode. But I was expecting more than 'okay' from Neil Gaiman.

The best part was definitely the Doctor competing with Mr Clever. Rest of it was 'okay' at best.

It was nice to see Warwick Davis in it though.

That episode checked a lot of the boxes for me. It did lots right that not many other episodes this season have done. Most of the individual bits were crappy, but until the cheap ending the overall episode had a good shape. There was a clear beginning, middle and end. I kept expecting it to suddenly cut off at the good bit, like last weeks episode, but it pushed on through to that ending. I want to say it's the best thing that's happened this season, but I don't want to commit to that.
