They honestly think that they can do better then minecraft and the sad thing is, they might. [...] It's really sad to see what the Yogscast have become, Money-whores.

All of this is
possibly true, but it stands to far more reason that they were frustrated by shortcomings in the games already available and decided to use their position to create the game they wanted. There's nothing wrong with that.

if they do become more famous because of it and not show off and brag just like what Mojang did, I support them.

Mojang show off and brag?

It just looks like a big 'Fuck You Notch'

Like I said, the community Yogventures is after is the creators of custom maps. This group has been poorly supported by Mojang. It's hard to create an exciting, dynamic adventure map in Minecraft without doing a lot of redstone and piston work. That's not necessarily a bad thing: it makes causal sense in-world, it inspires a lot of ingenuity, and a lot of people love the challenge. But it's time- and space-intensive and can require a lot of processing, and even then it's fairly limited in what it can accomplish. If Yogventures can provide a great way to customize player interaction then they'll lower the barrier of entry for budding game designers.
