So? Just because we have an explanation, doesn't mean it isn't interesting noticing noises we all strongly associate with Oddworld in other things. Better than noticing vague character similarities.

I've heard that sound too on a ton of things. Isn't it cool. That's the sound on the new Predators film

I suppose. I have to admit that it is quite fun to spot.

I didn't think this deserves it's own topic, so;

Has anyone ever noticed there's a continuity flaw at the end of AO? When Abe finally shuts down the factory Mullock orders the slig to kill everyone in the plant with the gas. Then the final part of the game begins which lasts for what, 2 minutes? Eventually Abe falls into the boardroom where all the executives are on there pedestals ordering to kill him before he goes Shrykull. But... Molluck and the slig were in that very same boardroom a few minutes ago when the timer started, without the executives. Where did those Glukkons come from so quick?

They must of all moved in to the boardroom whilst panicking all in the space of 2 minutes.

or something like that.

Was just watching the first episode of Season 7 Mythbusters and heard the flashback music in AO's intro. I'm starting to wonder how much of Oddworld's music is actually written for the games? O_o

Well Michael Bross did both MO and SW scores, but as for the first two, its beginning to make me wonder as well.

Does anyone have the SW score actually? I'm quite tempted to purchase it on my 3rd playthrough now. Such a good score.

I got the first volume of the SW soundtrack for Christmas. Say, when's the second one coming out anyway?

There were only a few musical tracks in MO and they are all available for download from the OWI website.

There are two versions of the score, be careful witch one you buy.

http://bross.com/releases/rec_oswvol1.html
http://keepmovingrecords.com/eng/disc/28/

The second one has better content as all the songs have additional comments in the booklet. Plus it's limited to 500 copies.

So the one on Bross' actual website isn't the more expanded upon release? I'd've thought it would've been. I'll know where to go now though.

Edit: Okay, so the limited edition comes to about £10 with shipping, and the standard release from Bross comes to £20. I feel like something's.. wrong. Am I doing the internet right?!

I've always heard the squarky croaking bird that's heard an awful lot on Oddworld. I'll often hear it when I'm watching a TV show set in the jungle or something, and I think I've heard it once when I was in a zoo somewhere. It bugs the hell out of me, particularly because I was under the impression it was unique to Oddworld.
Wait, Its not oddworld exclusive?

SHIT, FUCK. FUCK, SHIT.
GAHHH!!!!!!
