It's on SyFy. You can probably stream season 1 online. You should probably just do that anyway, because season 2 has been pretty disappointing thus far.

I once met this humorless old bastard who said he was offended by Hogan's Heroes because of it's comedic take on P.O.W.s. If he was actually in a war, perhaps I would have sympathized, but he wasn't. He just had no taste or sense of humor.
Ehh, my mom's entire side of the family found that show in bad taste, since my Grandpa fought in dubya dubya two. It was pretty tasteless for its time, regardless of intention.
It's fine if you fought in the war or are close to someone who did. Especially if they were a POW. This guy was old enough to have fought in the war, but he was adamant about saying he hadn't, and actually went into a small diatribe about why people who join the army are idiots.
He probably wasn't even genuinely offended by the show, he just likes to complain about things.

I watched the German movie version of the Wave. Plot is pretty faithful, right up until the awkward kid pulled a gun.
Also the accountability of the teacher was really emphasized.

useless outside battle and sports anime.
But they're recklessly trying to make a slice-of-life anime about us.

Hey, look. Two FOURCHANNEL memes rolled into one. I like the FOURCHANNELS although why can't there be five you know what i'm saian lol? I should follow this guy on twitter there may be even more channels that I don't know about.
Anyway, I watched In Bruges again last night. I really like that movie.
If by 'They' you mean the guy who directed Shawn of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim then I'm inclined to agree with you on account of Hot Fuzz can't possibly be that bad.

Shaun Of The Dead is great. never seen Scott Pilgrim. wasn't overly keen on Hot Fuzz to be honest, couldn't really get into it. but i'll reiterate, i thought Shaun Of The Dead was fantastic.
If that was enough to make something interesting, then you'd never get a boring action movie.
In reality, the vast majority of action movies are boring.
