I can't believe you spent time drawing them, mind you, I spent time on making terrible things just to annoy Crashpunk. I'd tip my hat to you if I was wearing one.

I like the angry Mudokon G string the best.

Black background full colour graphic tees are hyper ugly and only worn by neck-beards. That can't be good for brand image.

Clothing merchandise is not cool. As well as being ugly, as the focus is on the brand rather than the style, people who wear them turn themselves into walking advertisements (the are also invariably lazy in their dress). I wonder if they have any self respect.

Maybe a good, clever graphic designer could pull it off. I don't know.

Mud face beanies and stitch-lip bandanna's look kind of cool, though (though without the OWI logo on the latter).

Just my 2 pence ect.

This looks like it could be a very cool concept if you drop the OWI logo. I wonder how it would look like in real life though.

I imagine it'd have the full face on it, but could be folded in such a way that it only shows the mouth when worn in the way of a mask.

I mean, I got the idea from existing bandana designs that work in a similar way. I got a side-by-side of someone wearing a design I actually managed to find the unfolded version of (hooray for google).

I imagine a Mud smiley bandana would be a little plainer than that, mind. And I keep looking back and agreeing with you guys more and more that the OWI logo doesn't look right on that sketch I did. Definitely would be better as a plainer design.

I wouldn't have been bothered by your statement had you not made a stupid, generalised statement about people who wear clothing merchandise. Since when did wearing a t-shirt with something you love on it make you lazy or have no self-respect?

That would actually be quite easy to do. Just get some rubber gloves and fill them with potpourri.

Technically, now that most of us have smartphones, they should be called 'personal devices'.

Anyway, back on topic, I'd like an Oddworld mug. I own mugs of everything I like, it's strange.

I quite like the idea of an oddworld beanie, but those in the image are way too invasive. I think it would be better to have the same sort of graphic more subtly placed on the side or something.

Oddworld has quite a few graphics that would work well just standalone on t-shirts or other apparel. I'd wear a Butt-Flo t-shirt for kicks.

Something like this might be cool as well, based on Meet the Scout from TF2:
http://store.valvesoftware.com/product.php?i=C01400
but with "Hello, Hello, Follow me, Okay."

Things that, if people who see it know, they'll know; and if they don't, it doesn't scream it at them. That's why I really like the Sekto Springs shirt.

That said, in another clothing thread from a while back someone mentioned a 'Three Scrab Abe Moon' shirt. I'd go for that.

EDIT: Oh, Valve already did it. http://store.valvesoftware.com/product.php?i=CP201

I only think clothing merchandise is ridiculous when it's very blatantly advertising something. For example, I won a pumpkin carving contest my school hosted last year and won a hoodie... with the Nike logo on one side of the zipper and the school's name on the other. I feel like a walking billboard when I wear it, which is a shame because it's actually very comfortable.

When the advertising is very subtle, like simply a mudokon face on a t-shirt or a paramite "bursting" through the chest, it's nice. If someone sees your shirt and they like it, they could ask, "Hey, what's that from?" and the wearer has the choice whether or not to tell the person it's from a game series you enjoy enough to wear merchandise from.

E: MSPA is a good example of what I mean by subtle. Their shirts look like just shirts with some symbol on it, rather than an advertisement. They're very distinct to people who know what it's from, though. The shirt I own relating to it I've gotten fans of Homestuck approach me to talk about it, and I've gotten people who have never even heard of it approach me to compliment my shirt, then ask me what it's from or where I got it.

An example of their clothing merchandise.

The same can be done for Oddworld.

It's very simple, not in your face advertisement wise, and something I would buy and wear for a reasonable price.

I'd agree that a mudokon face imprint is acceptable for informal occasions. I can't really call it advertisement since it lacks OWI's logo (I doubt that "mudokon face" sign is so well-known that it invariably associates with OWI). I myself prefer plain clothing without imprints though.

The Stranger's Wrath Ammo Plushies sound awesome. So do the Figurines of Shrykull and Scrabs. I'd so buy that. Also, on certain iterations of the boxarts from AO and AE, Abe is wearing a necklace in the shape of the OWI logo. I would also buy that. I like the design of the logo. And I'd also buy T-Shirts. with the logos of the different companies from the games on them. Or Abe's Necrum chest tattoo he got in AE. And while we're at it, why not also gloves with the Scrabania and Paramonia handscars? And as a big fan of posters (seriously. I LOVE posters!) I'm of course also totally for that.
