^^ Videophones do exist actually. I know there's some in Japan. The closest thing to moving sidewalks is the conveyor belt things in airports, but I think there will be some soon.

I definitely wish the force was real, along with lightsabers. Damn, it'd be so much fun to just scare the crap out of people who messed with ya. Just whip out the good ol' lightsaber and voila! They'd run away screaming

Also, this is gonna sound pretty messed up, but I've always wished that "The Program" from the Battle Royale novel existed. Especially if I got to fight against the people I hated. It'd be the perfect balance of exhilaration and unimaginable terror

I would hate for the BR Act to be put into action. I would hate to think about all those people dying for no particular reason, and the fact that I may have to kill someone I love in order to stay alive.

I guess if ya put it that way, it would suck. Although, if I were in it with someone I loved, I'd probably just "take care" of the rest of the competition, and take my own life in the end, so that the particular person could survive.

Judging by the wrong choice I made when doing a quiz on the NASA
website, they have already started learning how to teleport atoms
from one spot to another, meaning humans teleporting for real one
day may not be that far into the future.

Well, the students were also equipped with random weapons that ranged from forks to sub-machine guns. Escape from the island was also impossible, due to collars the students were forced to wear that would explode if they wandered into a "Forbidden Zone". That's pretty much it

. I really prefer the novel over the movies, since the novel covers what happened in much more deatil than the movie. It's the best novel I've ever read

This Battle Royale thing sounds cool. Has it EVER been shown on English TV?(regular or Sky)

Unfortunately, no. It is out on DVD though, and you can find it pretty easily. I'd suggest reading the novel before watching the movie though, since there's so many things that are left out in the movie that made the plot all the more interesting.
