Wish they were real.

So many times I watch TV and wish the equipment they had was real. The main thing I wish were real are Star Trek's Holodecks. Or for those "Star Trek is for gays and lowlives" people, you may know it as the "Holoship" from Futurama.

Whenever I watch an episode of Star Trek with the Holodeck, I always wish they were real. Why? I get bullied alot at school (I may point out I have never admitted to being a Trekkie at school).

Me: Computer, **** High School, Date, 27th October 2006. Lunch time. put the usual bullies in the Canteen.
Computer: Program complete, Enter when ready.
*Walks onto Holodeck*
Bully: Hey, F9cktard! *Punches Fuzzle guy*
Me: Computer, generate a Machine Gun for me. :p

Another thing I occasionally wish was real is the force. Those Sunday mornings, when you can't be bothered getting out of bed, but the TV remote control is at the other end of the room. :(. I might add that Only a few times I have wished that the force is real.

Am I the only sad git who sometimes wishes these applications were real, or are there others out there? If so, then please tell me what you wish was real etc. I am curious to know.

God no. I heard that within 60 years mankind will be able to test things very similar to the "Beam me up, Scotty!" thing. Always wanted to try that. I figure even if ****s up its a quick and cheap way to go. But if it doesn't I'll die a very happy man.

Fuzzle Guy 10-28-2006 10:19 AM

I'm pretty sure EVERYONE on the plannet would Love to be beamed if they had the chance. But I was too scarred to inhale helium because my Dad told me it disrupts the vocal cords and I was too scarred they would stay that way  So I think I would chicken out when I got to the transporter unfortunately :(

*I have inhaled helium since I got over the fear of it.

those sound awesome. another thing I wish that I could use would be... yeah. the force.
some idiot decides to make fun of you for somehting you like and then ZAP! they are fired by your force shock.

Fuzzle Guy 10-28-2006 11:19 AM

My Wish came true :)

XD. Imagine that in court.

"Would you like to tell the court room what happened?"
"They zapped me. Lightening bolts. Shot out of their fingers!"

I often wish the world of Futurama was real- we'd have aliens, time and space travel would be normal, there'd be robots, and for the most part everyone would be happy. Or at least miserbale in a liveable sort of way.
EDIT: And chances are, if I ever somehow get the money to set up and buy one of those CAVE hologram-world things, chances are I'm going in and never coming out, it couldn't be worse than the real world. Unless it malfunctions and the holograms become real and evil! [/Futurama]

Fuzzle Guy 10-28-2006 11:28 AM

Suicide Booths :)

Futurama! :-0 That Idea was first used in Star Trek!!! *Evils Munch's Master* :p

Havoc 10-28-2006 02:35 PM

OOC: thank you. Another thing that I just thought would be pretty friggen sweet would be that dagger of time that the prince of persia uses. punch someone really hard in the face, and then rewind time to before you hit them, thus not suffering the consequences.
Or even Gummi ships from Kingdom Hearts. That way I could fly to other worlds and see what's goin' on there.
EX: Go to Halloween Town and see Jack Skellington and Sally. That would be kick arse.

You know how people in films often carry time machines strapped to their wrists by a tiny belt, and it keeps track of their temporal location? They just raise their arm and it tells them. People will ask me in the street, "Hey! You know what time it is?" And I can say, "Yeah! Thanks to my very own miniature time-tracking device!"

w00t.

Things I wish were real. Let's see... Gravity Guns. That would be so much fun... Um, a piano/guitar intrument, two instruments in one. I've actually drawn up a few designs of a piano guitar. Anyway, a reality-bending machine of some sort, and probably...zerglings. meh

Nate 10-30-2006 02:28 AM

Ummm... Do you mean a Keytar? Quite possibly the most unfashionably eighties instrument of all time.

magic9mushroom 10-30-2006 03:51 PM

Um...Pretties, remote control(Force), computers you can talk to, cyberspace.

Arxryl 10-30-2006 04:30 PM

wait... cyber space isn't real? I'm not actually talking to you right now? AAAHH!
*stares at computer blankly as his small world collapses.*
Another thing that would be kick arse would be the Ghost or Banshee from Halo 1 and 2. Or maybe even the wraith.

No, not a Keytar, those things are pathetic, I was thinking of something different, and weirder-looking. But since I don't have a scanner I can't upload pics and share my ideas. And that would be going way off-topic anyway.

ZANGG 10-30-2006 10:01 PM

Backyard nuclear reactors.

Arxryl 11-01-2006 06:27 AM

a Chill Pill. Seriously, they should make those. Heck, I'd take a few!

Bullet Magnet 11-01-2006 09:00 AM

I'd be responsible with it, I swear!

Arxryl 11-01-2006 09:34 AM

If only the energy sword from Halo 2 existed. it would be perfectly concealable, (when it's off,) and it's very "sharp".

ODD-BOD 11-01-2006 11:10 AM

yeah good idea but it would real easy to rob a bank with one of those lol

Rex Tirano 11-01-2006 11:17 AM

When I was little [and still a tiny bit now] I really wanted Pokémon to be real. I would've had a Growlithe and like everyone else who bummed pokémon, he/she wouldn't've had to live in a poké-ball.

AH those were the days.

Arxryl 11-01-2006 12:30 PM

Ah yes. I remember when I wished that Digimon were real. Run around attacking the people that are jerks to everyone else with my Metalgreymon.

Or the keyblade. run around unlocking things magically. now that would be an easy way to rob a bank.
or an easy way to get into your house if you lost your key.

Bullet Magnet 11-01-2006 01:12 PM

I still want to be a Jedi Knight, and I doubt I will ever lose that hope.

Arxryl 11-01-2006 02:02 PM

...Or maybe a Sith lord. that would be cool too.

Fez 11-01-2006 02:08 PM

I want a Keytar!

I'm not evil enough. I'm just the sort of person who wouldn't fall to the dark side.

Though Yoda did say that having such an attitude was to be already lost.

ANN NEELY 11-01-2006 03:19 PM

Any machine I see in the Doraemon comics/cartoons:

"Anki Pan" Memory bread A bread used to imprint pages, which after ingestion, will imbue the consumer with the content imprinted on the bread.
"Computer Pen" When put to paper, it automatically does all the work, whether it be for a job or school.
"Abekobe Cream" Upon use, the colder the surroundings of the user, the hotter they get, and vice-versa.
"Usotsuki" When the user wears this over their mouth, people will believe every lie they tell.
"Instant Construction Camera" and "Gulliver Tunnel" The ICC takes pictures of buildings and produces miniature versions of them (complete with minis of whatever was inside, except for living things), and walking through the GT will make you small enough to walk into the mini buildings.

If you read the warning lable you would want them.

ODD-BOD 11-02-2006 01:35 AM

What about robot slaves who do what you want, that would be even easier to rob a bank with ! ! !
