More than that; Rupturefarms was used as a setting because (as Max said) it's a perfect representation of all that is bad with the industrial's slash-and-burn ethos. Unless Abe's story has changed inconceivably, it will still fit these requirements wonderfully.

don't worry, Abe's story is very important to lorne, he will not change it drasticly, he loves it the way it is

Oddworld have had great successes in the past, and have made mistakes. Their strength comes from their character and world design, stories, and their innovation. They learn from their mistakes, and if we are correct in believing this is an AO film, then we know they are going back to their roots. AO was very successful. I am sure we have nothing to worry about.

Here is a big question....do you think they would put the extra FMVs onto the DVD as extras? I thiking of the DVD that came with Stranger's Wrath. This would be nice especially for all those don't have it

It's possible they may put the Abe game FMVs as viewers could compare the game to the movie. I doubt they would put the MO or SW FMVs on there.

sounds like an exellent idea, something like the AE movie "what happened before" feature and compare the film the the game

Hey: seeing as the quintology was envisioned as films first, but AE was a bonus game...

Would they have to make an AE film (another one) before they make MO?

Not necessarily, and hopefully not. SoulStorm Brew featured in the original plans for Abe's Oddysee, and the events of Abe's Exoddus (e.g. the Mudokons learning to cooperate) are quite important to Abe's story, so I guess the stories will be combined.

Happy

I think you are right Max. It be more likely that is the case. I am just full of questions. I know we can only guess, how long this movie be? Personally I wouldn't mind if it was 2 hours or more long. The more I see of oddworld the better.
