I respect your desision, a ten hour movie would have been six hundred pages! And secondly, you can't decide how long the movies gonna be, the script does, a one minute movie would be one page, two minutes-two pages- 1 1/2 Hours-90 pages, and I highly doubt you wrote a script for 600 pages (I am a filmmaker incase you forgot, that's how I know these facts )

We have put more details on them like the slig's button on the face.
We have added nicer textures.
We have done a great job

That's a big question, Tim. You would be best off emailing fanlegal@oddworld.com and giving them a detailing on what your movie is. I would say that producing it would be no more different than creating fanart or fanfics, but distributing it would be a whole lot different.

I have already, unfortunately, had to decline somebody's request that I host a music video they had made that used footage made by OWI (I did try, but Brinkster wouldn't let me do it anyway). I have another friend who made a trailer for an Oddworld film, and while I haven't seen it, I am assured that it is good. Another bunch of people who haven't seen it are OWI - they are legally unable to watch it.

I fear your project is going to be at the mercy of all kinds of copyrights and trademarks. Email fanlegal@oddworld.com.

I was reading the topic from the start and at the beginning i found this,
i rememberd ive mailed fanlegal@oddworld.com 3 times but never had any respond.
i also looked in my spam filter but it wasnt in there either.
i recieved 1 time an mail but not many info...
if anybody knows how i get their attention please tell me...
i am planning to send them a personal letter

EDIT 1 : SORRY FOR THE DOUBLE POST , MOD'S

It's well known that one page of a script equals approx. one minute of screen time. Ya.

Arrow New Info

Yo Guys!!

On a movie like my Oddworld the Movie (OTM) there must be new things.
But of course i cant let the old things fall away.
The idea came from Art Director Rose Wierenga ,
To let the old things in the movie but replace the signs.
So i give her and her 6 Art Crew members permission to create new signs.
Also they made some signs for new native & industrial things.
And they are very nice!!
Of course i give you guys a preview of the signs!!

But remember : The old things are still copyright and ® and/or TM. Oddworld Inhabitants. Inc.
So if you want to use them ,
Ask permission first to me (If Created by my crew) and/or Oddworld Inhabitants. Inc.

The new FeeCo DepoT sign.

A whole new sign : proudly i and my crew presents : The Native Fleece-Ranch

This is all we have , there are still signs to complete and the Art Department is working very hard to complete these.
Please support us by waiting.
And not to put pressure on us.
Thank you ,
Tim Cottenham & Whole Crew

With large action sequences, you must time how long those action sequences actually are and then record them down on a Database of some sort.

EDIT: Tim, I have just realised this, since your doing your script like a play script EG:

Slig: Crap!

Unlike a movie script:

Slig
Crap!

So the 1 page one minute rule won't work with that kind of script anyway, so you've got nothing to worry about!

Stranger : I will do it.
Camera-movement : Moving up to the poster on the table.
Stranger : I will catch this “Abe” for the Glukkons.

I can't wait! It's a play script, The freaky thing is that in my Oddworld film Strangers after abe aswell...

The page by minute rule won't work either, as you have the camera movement, and most film scripts don't (I'm not meaning to offend you here)

I can't wait to see the movie now I've had that sneak preview

Fuzzleguy is doing a live realistic movie using a cam cord - Oddworld Evolution. It Involes chaccters such as Foultomec and Noggin, they both some how travel to planet Earth.

Tim H.C is doing a CG film called Oddworld Movie.
