no i dont play in third person i just took the pics in 3rd person cuz i was wearing a pumpkin on my head.(its to hide my creepers identity :P XD )

EDIT: i just went to the far lands in the sky dimension,it lagged so badly that i had to shut down minecraft,there are whole floating stacks of rock in wierd formations,and the map doesnt work in the sky dimension,probably becouse the void is showing and the maps dont support the void and the game crashes...

edit: i saw some updates in minecraft like open chest new pig model and some other new features,i cant wait for it to come out

Possibly the sunset. He mentioned somewhere that he was working on them.

I'm too lazy to compare it to the 1.7.3 one right now.

ah i dont see quite the difference,mabe the light is modified,and i think i saw a dot on the sun if you look closely down at the line of the sunset or is that a cactus.

It is probably the sunset, the decreasing of light will be more fluid, instead of the current manner of gradual darkening. And yeah, screenshots can't really grasp such things.

The transition from day to night makes my framerate really choppy, I hope this update is a little better-optimised.

I went exploring and got really far away from my home. I got lost, and I figured if I could kill myself, I could respawn back at my base. When I did so, It told me my home bed had been obstructed.
Guys....did I just loose everything?

If you remeber your way back from your originial Spawn, you haven't lost everything.

The stuff you had on you yeah, you would have lost that either way if you killed yourself.

Whenever I get lost I simply build a temporary home and find enough stuff to make a compass.

Also, does anyone know when 1.8 is out? My friend said it's next week, but he couldn't remember when or something.
