actually the series im talkin bout is the Fall of Reac, the game , and the soon to be Halo2 and the soon to be novel THE FLOOD.

Well, as your own ally has just pointed out, 'THE FLOOD' is the book of the game. Last time I was in my first year at school, that equaled two. Two does not make a series.

I remembered reading a long time ago someoen talking about Halo's story. Its in this review: http://gamefaqs.com/console/xbox/review/R28739.html

That explains how much of the story isn't even original. Heh. Anyways, I have the rest of Spring Break to cehck out those books from a library and read through them. Yay for prooving facts!

Max Payne, its already going to be a movie but it'll be great, also Deus Ex would be an exelint movie, it has a great story line, that and Theif would make a good movie, the story, the character, the, mood, the technology, everything.....its just...so..COOL!!

Yes well the Halo Story SUCKED ok it just SUKED the story line was crap, the game was good, it was fun ya'know but the story line sucked...just down right sucked..the book was good...but the story line...*sigh* Bungie..please think before your going to make a game as pointless and story line less as halo

I'd have to say...Wild9 for the playstation would make a good movie. And all the Grand Theft Auto games. Also, Majic...lord of the rings is already a movie, hell, they already made a second one!!! So, all I have to say is...my favorite game to become a movie would be....dun dun dun dunnnnnnn.... TEKKEN. 123 and 4 put together....it would be called, Tekken: The Ultimate Tournament. Also, I think all the Oddworld games would make a great movie! It would be awesome! "Oddworld: The movie"...ahh...I can see it now. last but not least...Bloody Roar 1 and 2. Let's think. umm......crash bandicoot one two and three. Examples of:

1.) Overexaggerating

2.)It was good (in my opinion) but you also make it out to be like its the worst story ever conceived.

3.) As Majic said, I too agree it was a sad attempt at jumping on the band wagon, blame game, etc.

4.) Kick back and relax.

5.) Cheers, have some bottled water.

6.) Enjoy life, its much too short most of the time.

ok a couple of those didn't make sense. but I feel a lot of us need to lighten up more.

Anyways I dont see any further need to argue, everyone can have their own opinion, and you have to atleast try to respect that, if you want someone to respect you, and your opinions. Plus it's never good to pick at an open wound (conflict in this case). As I stated enjoy life have a fun time and try not to hurt anyone along the way.

Halo's story was just fine in my opinion. If it were to be made into a movie they would have a lot of material to work with, so there is definite room for improvement. Halo 2's storline looks to be kick ass!

I am a huge Metroid fan, and i'm sorry if this has already been mentioned (i don't have the time to read all of this thread at the moment, sorry), but i heard that the makers of Final Destination and American Pie have bought the rights to make a Metroid film.

This worries me, as i hate teen films and hollywood near-death sensationalist crap (American Pie and Final Destination respectively). I hope these people have experience in other genres.

Another thing is, Metroid has always been very isolated with hardly any dialogue at all (excluding Metroid Fusion), and they aint gonna make a film with 2 hours of Samus exploring on her own and killing things, they're obviously going to have many characters...so right off the bat, it's not going to feel truly 'Metroid'.

It may turn out to be fantastic in it's own right...it just won't capture that Metroid atmosphere very well...

Hello Latimere Munch. I would love to see FFX as a movie. I know that there was a Final Fantasy movie, but it really was not Final Fantasy. It was a science fiction movie. FFX has such great storylines. If Square created a movie which had the storylines of these games and was more fantasy then it would be a wonderful movie. And I would love to see Tidus on the big screen.
