I watched most of No Country for Old Men. Very good indeed, I can't wait to watch the resolution.

Elvis was up and he had never seen it, so we watched. It was like my sixth time seeing it, but I enjoyed it so much that I re-read the book immediately after. It makes me sad that they shortened so much of Chigurh's dialogue because in the book it really gives him a lot of depth and almost an other worldly/enlightened pseudo-philosophical vibe that just doesn't come across in the film. Still one of the best adaptations I've ever seen, though.

Saw Rango and Super 8.
Super 8 was pretty rad as well. Though it didn't focus on the monster as much as I expected, was still really fun. Most of the movie is about the kids and how the react to each other and what is going on around them, it's pretty accurate about this and it made me laugh more than I thought I would. Monster was still cool in the scenes it was in though.

I
really wanted to see Super 8 at first, but then my interest just...went away. I don't know why, really. Does the movie feel more Spielberg, or Abrams? I think it's the Spielberg aspect that puts me off. That and the fact that the trailer seems like an updated version of the original trailer for E.T.
I haven't really seen anything fantastic. Well,
Wonder Showzen was pretty funny, and HBO's
Funny or Die Presents had some decent stuff, but for the most part was hit or miss. Other than that, Dorian has been marathoning the US version of The Office, which I think stopped being funny after season three. And it really wasn't even that funny to begin with.
