It was one of the many features cut from MO. I think it was because their numbers were going to depend on your actions, but there weren't any opportunities to alter things in the final game.

Though that picture isn't strictly a Hand of Odd picture, if I recall correctly. I have the actual E3 pamphlet that's from at home, I'll be able to check in a couple of days.

I thought Abe was going to encounter them in the desert. But the Lusks were a very early design, right? So they may have been included in a story arc that never came to be.

No, the pink thing with the big eyes and the one bunny-ear ARE the babies of Meetles. The purple Fuzzles ARE purple Fuzzles.

I think they weren't actually planned for a specific game. The production designers sometimes created characters and species to flesh out the world even without a plan of how they were going to use them.

Ah, it got sort of a nauntulus feel to it. I have a feeling that they would be similar to sligs though.

Let's not forget about the Kinto.
I heard that they lived on mountains, and were relativly stupid. I also heard that they have a fear of carrying anything on their heads, so when they carried some queen (either slig or glukkon) they had to be trained a lot.

Interesting. So when it's like snowing of something, they just endure it, rather than seeking shelter. Seems like an evolutional disadvantage to me, but I'm sure they'd live with it somehow.

Also, not to be immature or anything, but is that vestigal legs on a kinto's pelvis, or it's genitals?

It seems that rather than designing their creatures with genitals, OWI just put dribbling goo where they should go.

They did it with Kintos, Interns, and I think Glukkons.
