It's just that I think by now the only reason he does not possess mudokons is gameplay, perhaps respect or care for their safety (we have no idea what the long-term effects of possession might be). Glukkons and sligs tended to be portrayed as highly disposable resources (Glukkons less so in MO) and less than people. But in SW both Clakkers and Grubbs are portrayed very much as genuine inhabitants of Oddworld with their own lives and cares. Outlaws and Wolvarks are just as disposable as before, but they feel much more like living, intelligent creatures than anyone in MO and I cared about them more. Probably as aspect of improved gameplay but perhaps also because I usually tried to keep outlaws alive?
The upshot is that I can't imagine possessing any SW creatures quite as well as I can possessing the golden oldies.
