Because it's my position that's becoming vacant and I'm currently a mod for both subforums. So unless Alcar has plans I'm not aware of, the position is for both.

So, rather than choose a new moderator ourselves as we have done for all recent new moderators, the admins, Havoc and I have decided to go back to the old, old way of choosing moderators and hold elections for a new FC moderator to replace Havoc and help lighten the load from my shoulders.

Ladies and gentlemen, nominations are now over. Voting will begin at the weekend since I'm still waiting for one or more nominees to answer PMs I've sent them. If that means you, PM me before Sunday or you won't be included in the elections.

In answer to questions I've been asked, nominees will be allowed to vote but not for themselves.

Nominees are welcome to put 'propaganda' in their signatures. Non-nominees can also put propaganda in their signatures for the nominees they wish to win.
