Something that may be of interest. I was e-mailng Matt Lee about sending fanart to OWI, and we had a small conversation about the Abe games being on Steam. He said that they didn't do any marketing or advertising to see how the games "would take off via existing fans picking up on it". And guess what? The games lasted almost a week on Steam's Top Seller's list (they're not there anymore though 'cause more stuff was released).

I think that counts as being pretty successful.
EDIT: BTW, people here shouldn't be dissapointed about there not being any improvements to the games over their original release versions - It's really amazing that they're on Steam at all. Just think - No longer are they hard to find and rare. Instead they are now incredibly easy to purchase.

And anyone with 'net access and a credit/debit card can buy them.
Ain't that amazing?
