*Sorry for the double post*

Since Dino's buggered off I guess I'm the sole provider of the screenshots here. Well here's a picture of New Eden (The area that was destroyed when EVE-Gate blew up).

I think that blue light is the remains of the wormhole. It looks better in person but if anyone's gonna go see it, be advised, it's a very dangerous route.

I never got to see it, godless, I was afraid the wormhole might destroy me and my ship!

Buit seriously folks, it doesn't matter if you don't like MMORPGs, it doesn't matter if you don't like sci-fi, get a trial then an acount! Go! Enjoy this! It is GOLD!

Yes! Screeny shots! I have to say, it's amazing how thy've given clear distinguishment among the four races through style of ships and station (Gallente ftw!).

Hehe, I won a bet yesterday about which race has the best looking ships. Gallente all the way!

It won me a fair bit of ISK .

Also, as promised, more screenshots.

1. A very rare occasion where I was the second person on EVE .

2. An Amarr station and also my corporation HQ. The whole station doesn't belong to my corporation, we just rent an office inside

3. The planet 'Paye IV' and it's first moon.

4. And finally, my shiny Gallente Shuttle.

Just incase anyone is interested (I doubt it, by the number of posts between my last one and this one) I'll be on the test server on EVE Online soon so I'll be able to post some screenshots of some Dreadnaughts. Dreadnaughts are currently the largest ship in existence in the known EVE Universe.

Currently being the main word. Within the next few weeks CCP are bringing in 3 more MASSIVELY LARGE ship types, The Titan, The Carrier and finally The Mothership.
To give you an idea of the sizes of these ships, take a look at this size chart.

http://www.eve-files.com/media/12/eve_chart-rmr.jpg
(Size of the image is way too large to be shown on the forums. I don't want to kill the people still with 56k modems )

There's too many ships for me to list them all so if you want to know what one of the ships is, tell me which one and I'll tell you all about it .

I got this game a while ago, I don't really think it's all you cracked it up to be, half the game revolves around warping everywhere, and the rest is just getting a new ship and whatnot.

There's is a lot more to it than that. But I'm not going to say it purely because i can't remember it all. Anyway, I got the pictures of the Dreadnaught. I was lucky enough to find one in the FFA (Free for All) section of the test server.

I coudn't get any more pictures purely bacause it was lagging so much (27 ships in 1 place kill my computer hehe).

Damn! Look at the power loads on those babies! [/cheap space biker red neck talk]

Seriously though, if I could have kept my acount I would have so been into the thorax, like that one you were using when we went on that really long journey. But in my opinion, power loads are half of everything when it comes to giving a good fight. My stupid Incursus just couldn't handle so many excellent railguns at once

Was that moros your's? If so, how did you ever afford it? And how did you manage to get all of that skill?

Nah not my Moros, I was flying around the test server and I saw it fighting a Raven Battleship (I think you can see it in one of the pics). I was in a Vexor cruiser, I foolishly tried to attack the Raven . While attacking the Moros, it dispatched 4 drones which quickly made light work of me.

Also about the affording it, if I had the skills for it it would be no trouble affording it. In the test server, everyone is given 1 billion ISK and everything is on the market for 100 ISK. So there's usually a few Dreads around. Like yesterday, I saw a Moros and a Minmatar Dreadnaught (can't remember the name) both fighting each other. Once I warped in the Minmatar Dread fired one shot at me which took out my Thorax instantly.

Oh and to get an idea of the sheer size of that Moros. You know that shuttle picture I posted? Well this is how it compares...

Shit! That thing looks like a quarter of a station. I know it will be hard, but can you get us some pics of elite ships or whatever, like the Buzz? Simply amazing some of these ships.

Yes, I think I can see the Moros firing some kind of missile at the opposing ship. Very good indeed.

You've basically hit the nail on the head there.

People do get all excited about eve but it isn't that great. They've been gradually adding things over time that should've been in it right from the start. The balances are really bad and change with every patch... it's basically never the same game and all people ever do is exploit and whore the latest "winning" setup.

The most major letdown of eve is that they just don't feel like starships... they're so easy to control that it's really quite boring. I want to be vectoring my thruster vents, magnetising my main sublight ion drive grille, zeroing my mainguns, and manouvering stategically to get in a good position in a firefight. I want to have a ship with a command bridge literally encrusted in datapanels and displays showing tactical, strategical, navigational and engineering information. I want a hanger bay with a fighter wing supported by heavy escort frigates.

Something about the whole thing lacks detail, it's just so simplistic. You can't shoot up a ship so bad it has to pull some daring stunt just to escape and limp home, trying to evade detection as it goes. You can't attempt to concentrate fire on individual parts of ships. Very little in the game is left up to you. This makes it feel very barren.

I used to like it, but even then I knew it wasn't that great in the back of my mind. It can be fun and all... it's just not really got that "BIG starship" feel... you don't feel like you're in control of anything much at all.

True, and the egg thing kinda turned me off. I think they could have been more creative in the game world itself. All in all, I would classify this as a pretty good game, even a great game, the egg thing still doesn't rub well with me though.

Aye, first thing I asked when I got the game was, ''Is it possible to leave your space-ship?'', I was really dissapointed when my answer was ''No, you're surgically strapped into a pod.''

How awesome would it be breaching a space station, unboarding in it with some mates and blasting the bejeebus out of some people in their offices?

Sorry, used. I searched for hours for a Buzzard but Covert Ops ships are incredibly rare so my search failed.

Meh, I would expect it to even find one picture of an elite ship. I could only find the elite incursus and atron when I tried looking. Bah, well, they are only a small aspect of the game.

Now here's the 1337 of elite ships! I've just seen TWO titans on the test server!

I've got to go now so I'll post the screenshots (loads of them ) tomorrow.
