I used your key, but do I get those games with it as well? Also I don't know if I said thanks for using the key but thanks if I didn't.

Huh? Which key did you use? The one I posted earlier gives you the HIB3 games, this one gives you HIB2 games. Also, you're welcome. (You gave me +rep. )

Not sure why I thought Super Meat Boy was in this, but OMG YES.

The second Bundle's games all have much higher ratings on Metacritic than the third's, with the exception of Cortex Command, which doesn't have one at all.

I've played the demos of Braid and Machinarium, the latter just the other day, and they look very nice indeed. So I'm rather pleased about this.

Let's not forget Osmos, people; The game of microecology, projectile physics and orbital dynamics that is marginally less frustrating than that sounds.

Shit. I'm going to be quite busy over the next few months. VVVVVV has really made me get my platformer chops back together, so I'm going to see if that'll help me with Rayman.

Steel Storm is a fucking cool game. I hope there are some servers around locally, because it has huge online potential. Lots of pew pew action.

Osmos is exactly what MM said it is. It's pretty tough if you're impatient. I'm starting to realise that if I'm not certain it's worth trying to fit between those 2 larger gaseous masses then it's probably a really bad idea to try. The orbit-y levels are really cool.

That game about Titans is a nice, simple game until you get to the daunting tech screen. There are so many buildings and technologies to research. I think I fucked up by researching too many economy ones and not enough shooty ones.

I'm also moving my Braid star-get attempt to the computer because it's easier.

I already owned Machinarium (but haven't played) and VVVVVV was top of the list, as I briefly enjoyed the demo. I didn't say I wasn't going to play the games; just that I didn't know when I'd play them.

I'm flying through it because I remember all of the puzzles, however the secret star in world 3 where you have to guide the goomba-things through plants and then jump on them is still as much of a cunt to get as ever.

Why can't you buy it yourself?

And what games? They'd have to be good if you're only give one or two in exchange for seven or twelve.

Because I'm currently broke. I don't get paid for a few more days, and I've been wanting to play them for a while now -impatient-

I spose I could gift back a few 5 dollar games?
Since the average price is $5 for THIB 3?

Seeing as this is effectively a charity drive, I think asking people to buy them for you is more than a little stupid.

If you're talking about your allowance as I assume, why not ask your parents to deduct the price from it and buy the Bundle for you now?

Despite the ability to get the games at nearly zero cost, Wolfire Games estimate that 25% of the traceable downloads for the first Bundle have come from software piracy by links provided in some forums that bypass the payment screen to access the games; Wolfire further surmises additional piracy occurred through BitTorrent-type peer-to-peer sharing services.
Wow.

The hardest orbital levels are just you, one attractor and about seven tiny motes. You fly halfway across the system to regain about half of the mass you spent.

The 'combat' levels are my favourites, where you're trying to absorb a competitor. Also the ones with lots of small, absorbable attractors. And the ones that you described where you're crammed inbetween giants like bubble wrap.

There are a few tricks that make everything a lot easier, like understanding that slowing your orbit makes it shrink, and the concept of 'leeching':

1. Shoot mass at mote larger than you
2. Mote is slowly pushed away
3. Mote gently collides with an even bigger mote, preferably quite close to its own size
4. Larger mote begins to absorb mass from the smaller one, the slower the better
5. Scurry in, wait until shrinking mote is just under your own size and absorb it

Yeah. That level fucking stumped me until I figured that out. The lifeform levels are fucking hard, too. Especially the ones full of the buggers. They are also my favourite levels because it's so fun to watch everything hunt each-other and grow.
