Having read some of the more recent responses in this thread, I'd urge all members to imagine how they'd talk to someone if they didn't have their computers to act as buffers. Clearly, a grim situation has brought out a lot of frustration and unpleasantness, but it's unnecessary to perpetuate the negativity with even more vitriol, nobody benefits from it. Online or offline, it's not fair to use people as emotional punching bags; it only feels cathartic during the process and only begets frustration and disappointment ultimately.
It's nearing the end of the year, make merry and give each other support, not abuse!
