As you may have noticed, MA has been banned for some really bad posting. Xav immediately banned him because it seemed the only way to stop it from spewing forth. I've now banned Guillemot and LittleLamb for being suspected multis.

Now, this isn't the way I wanted things to go down for a member with such a long history here on OWF. If you're reading this MA, please shoot me a message on Facebook and explain what's going on. I'd be happy to unban you if I think you've calmed down.

And to everyone else: Are any of you friendly with MA outside of the forums? I don't know what's going on with him, but I hope he has someone looking out for him.

Is it okay to ask if Guillemot shared the same IP with LittleLamb? If so, I'm asking. If not, there was no question.

Yup, they shared one or two addresses. I should point out that IP addresses aren't definite proof of a multi, but they're certainly suggestive.

I wouldn't say LittleLamb is just a suspected multi, as he continued the rant on Nepsotic in the exact same manner just as MA got banned.

Although, I didn't suspect Guillemot. I thought it was just a weird, eccentric user.

I find the whole situation very saddening. It's not the first time it happens, but never to this scale. I really hope he cools off and act like normal MA again.

EDIT: Also, there goes my excitement for actually seeing new members. Next thing I'll see is, I dunno, Sybil Ant revealing herself as Nepsotic's split-personality alter ego, and Phoetux being CleverBot

I found it weird that Guillemot knew how to embed images in rep just like MA did, it's pretty clear they're all multis.

And, no, I'm going to guess nobody is pally with MA anymore. He thinks everybody's working against him and there's literally no reasoning with him. It's genuinely upsetting.

Littleleeroy recently said that he and Littlelamb were siblings. Was that just tongue-in-cheek, or is Littleleeroy another multi?

Littleleeroy is a long-time member, and he speaks in a different manner than MA does. I think he was just joking. They both have "Little" in the nickname.

I think that's a good point. I didn't connect those dots.

I haven't been keeping up to date with the forums recently, other than occasionally scanning the front page, so I'm not sure what's happened, but I know MA's had a difficult time for a long time and I'm very sorry to hear that it seems as though it's getting on top of him. I hope he manages to pull it back around quickly if this is the case.

If you don't yet know what happened, this thread is basically where it began. At least one of the post was deleted.

There's a few of us that are chatting to MA on the reg outside of OWF. It really shows what sort of people inhabit this place though, that some members will push other members to the point they have a breakdown.

To be fair, MA has been very provocative recently. Everyone has problems and I hope he gets the help he needs, but when these problems manifest in a public forum in a truly aggressive manner, it's unacceptable on many levels.

We have report buttons for a reason. If there is a serious issue with another user—such as nudging them toward a mental breakdown—then don't attack them, report them.
