Paramonia

In Paramonia, as in the beginning, Abe has I believe 10 different functions as far as laugh, angry etc. In Paramonia, there is a password that I can't figure out. It's either a grunt or an uh-uh, I'm not sure which, but I can't even get past that point because I don't know how to mimic the gatekeeper.
How do I accomplish this to get him past that point?

Hi Horse11, and welcome to the forums. Hope you'll have a good time here. Now for your question. In Abe's Oddysee, some muds appear and 'ask' you to either repeat them, or to give a password. When you have to mimic them (and when you have to give a password) the buttons 6,7 and 8 are used (assumed you use the pc version), 6 = high whistle, 8 = low whistle ( or vice-versa, not sure bou that) and 7 is fart. now, when he asks, repeat the message. and end with a fart. With passwords, you can get them at a touch stone (a pedestal with a hand.). Then you'll get the whistling sequence. Now, when you go to the Mud who asks a password, whistle that exact sequence, and end with a fart.

Thanks for the reply and the welcome! So any pedestal with the hand on it, I go there first, and then that reveals the password used in that scene? I tried that and it didn't seem to work, but I'll try it again. I may have missed the sequence or misunderstood the password. I'll let you know what happened!

Thank you AlphaScrab! I did exactly like you told me and it worked! Apparently, I misunderstood the password sequence, so I went back and replayed the sequence and followed your directions and I made it through. I appreciate your help!
