Post Strange news...

One year after the 9-11 attack on New York, New Jersey citizens gathered in the streets to mourn for the loss of their loved-ones and fellow Americans. Part of the ceremony had been to release doves from the hands of many people and let them fly off.

One problem: since they did all the shopping-around at the last minute, the pet stores were completely out of doves. So, instead, the officials bought pigeons which had been kept in their cages for most of their lives.

The next day, the pigeons were realised, and, to the horror of many, the pigeons took off through the sky, only to to crash into the the windows of office complexes and tall office buildings.

The pet store said that those doves were domesticated, meaning only to be kept as pets in people's homes.

Ain't that nice?

"Why do you have to quote others when you can quote yourself?" (Quote by me)
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God.
You see things, and you say 'why'. But i dream things that never were and i say 'why not'.

I dont see how you can take the events of 9-11 so lightly, wow those pigeons crashed into windows. Its not funny, in fact its a bit saddening that even the creatures of this planet resemble sometimes events or things of the sort like that. Even a year later, 9-11 should be taken even more seriously than just a at something ironic as birds crashing into office buildings and skyscrapers. Yes time goes on but I hope this wasnt amusing for you.

Edit: sorry there I let my emotios get the best of me. I really just get emotional on a topic about 9-11 because there is always much hatred and sadness involved. I just thought It was ironic that nature can mimic really the actions of a few just without the damage. Atleast not physical but mental damage.

Thats right Al, thats right. The birds thought they were Osamo Ben Ladin so they decided to crash themselves into buildings, only to find it gives them severe headaches. As far as I care, the birds don't represent 911 at all. Its just funny.

Let me rephrase, Im not saying they were doing exactly that, but thought it was just ironic that they did that.

I feel sorry for the people of the 9-11 attack, i have relatives living near there, thankfully they didn't work in the towers.

As for the birds i think it was a good idea except i think they should have thought it out first.
