I don't know, I kind of look back at the origins of Abe Babe and it's really very lame when I come to think of it. But I wouldn't change my forum name because it's what I have always been known as since I became part of the Oddworld online community.

Anyway, before I was into Oddworld I used to be a NFL fan. My favorite player was Jeff George and I had a crush on him (okay, that is so lame!!!). So I called myself Jeffie Babe (that is even lamer!!!). When I started getting interested in Oddworld I wanted to sign up at the then Oddworldian Forums, but did not know what to call myself. As my favorite character was Abe and I thought he was cute I went with the name Abe Babe.

And well, that's it, so move along now and read someone else's story.

I chose it because it is the name of a Mudokon I created, I chose the actual name because so far most Mudokons have their names starting with an 'A' I don't know where the rest of it came from.

I guess it was on the spot thinking

But a friend started calling me Kes, which I developed later into what I generally go by.

My real name is Alexander, but everyone calls me Al. So I came to a choice between my two favorite Oddworld Species, Glukkons and Vykkers, and I figured Vykker in my name would make more sense. Thus the Name Al the Vykker was born.
