Changing Avaters... Confusing

I hate it when members change their avaters. I always accompany a member with that small 64x64 picture. When they change it, I get all messed up and I don't notice that member's posts for quite a while. I am so confused! Who else finds it irritating when someone changes their avater after they had another one for months before?

I used the avatar I have now for when I first joined, then I changed it for a few months.

But I find that the avatar I have now is the best for me.

However when people do have the same avatar I do get mixed up. I remember when someone copied ODDBODD's avatar and it got confusing.

i am goin to stick with my Avater...........i will be a good boy and not change it..... so every one knows the weirdo has the Michael Myers avater...................

Yeah, it is pretty confusing. I'm usually the one who gets caught complaining about it, too.

That's why I usually make my own now.

But beware, cuz I'll probably change mine quite soon...

Hello MojoMan. I sometimes relate people to their avatars too. Especially if someone has had their avatar for a very long time it can get very confusing if they go and change it. This is even more a problem on the large forums because there are many members and many can use the same.

I might change my avatar soon, but I like this picture of Yuna so maybe if I find another I like I will change it. I don't think too many people know me, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I dont really get mixed up with avatars. I normally look at the name then the avatar.

It doesn't bother me but it does get confusing if two members have the same avatar if you know what I mean.

I like the mine very much and Idon't think I will change it (the bones in a "X" like Xavier)...

well when i chaned alvatar i changed it 2 times because i couldnt make my mind up on which i liked best but finnaly ive decided allthough since there are a thousound members or sometin it gets confusin cause lots of users have the same alvatar so i suggest that abe babe or a mod should make more alvatars.......

I also relate members with the avatars, like Xavier with the bones and skull, Atusiya@ with the shadowy thing, and the showslig for Jacob. I too find it confusing when people change their avatar, like ParamiteAbe.

I'm jus gonna keep this 1 cuz i think scrabs rule, and it's connected to my banner and name too.

I think if you actually like someone (like their style of writing, or as a friend!!!) then you'll remember them by their name! You guys shouldn't be complaining if you just have to remember a picture... Some people may like changing their Avaters, it might be fun for some people... I dont know!!!

Well on this board, I actually notice members by their (banner) sig rather than their Avatars. But I guess that's just me.
