We harbor weapons like that so as we can defend or hold back enemies like Hussien from using theirs. We do not threaten the world with our weapons...he does. A knight defends his land with a sword not his bare hands, We hold them back by having these weapons aswell. If we give it up then so must the whole world..to make it fair.

You see this is not a thing about harboring weapons...almost the entire worl does...its about threats to use it.

And Hussein harbours his weapons to protect his country from the possible attack from other countries. Like America.

It's a two sided battle, and no one will win. That is unless they leave eachother alone.

Two sides. I believe neither should have them. War will only result in nuclear war. Nuclear war will be the end to it all.

That's why no one can resort to starting wars.

But how many can they stop. I think USA is using this excuse to crush its enemy

Ever day I watch the news and ever day I see another suicidle bombing...it's so sad, that this happens daily. All in all, It is not America that is corrupt it is the whole world that is corrupt. We are living in a conflict mt friends, ever second of our lives are precious. You can not stop anyone from having weapons of mass destructions, wether you think it for the good or not, you can't stop them. We will certainly not surrender our weapons and nor will the rest of the world. If a bomb was to come over the world right now and cause catostrophic destruction....then so be it. It is in fate you will find the answers to this conflict, and there's nothing to stop it. I wish there were, and yet I dont. I hold on to this life dearly, but not as dear to my true home. I love alot of people in this world, I think about them all the time. All I can do is constantly say I love them, as if it was my last. I never know when my time here is up. We should live life now, one step at a time, days are coming shorter. Spend time with your loved ones, and always be thankful you still have them next to you.

Ugh, please. We have to have War, its the part of life that makes people fear the 'end' i personally dont giva shit if we do go to War. Let them battle it out. I personally dont think Saddam wants to take over the world, i think he just wants the hassle from the US to stop...He will eventually attack somebody...which, of course, will always be joyful. And the people who are saying 'Give Peace a chance' 'lets live in harmony' shut up...please...shut the f*ck up. I get immensly annoyed when Hippy-failures start to speak. The reason Sadaam Hussein is not allowed to posses weapons of mass destruction is that it was part of an agreement at the end of the Gulf War. Iraq is the only country, that I know of, to have UN restrictions on weapon manufacturing. THAT IS FOR A REASON!!! Sadaam Hussien has killed many people and ordered the deaths of thousands, I believe he would do anything in his power to kill Americans seeing as how he hates us so much. How dare anyone impose the thought of treating him with any respect or justice. This man should be killed without any mercy and he should be killed now. One more thing, I CAN'T STAND HIPPIES EITHER!!

Alcar, I am fully aware of the United State's past transgressions. Are you aware of Australia's violent past? Are you aware of the murder of thousands of Aboriginies in your country? I don't know why you have such an avid hate of America when your country has its own history of violence. Nothing can be done about those things now but we can prevent the bloodshed in the Middle East.

Alcar, I also believe that don't understand the Vietnam War what so ever. The Vietnam War was fought to maintain the freedom of the democratic South Vietnamese from the Communist regime of the country of North Vietnam. 58,000 Americans died in that war, and you are glad that they did. Are you glad that another country fell victim to the oppression which is Communism?

None of this is the point, my point is that you believe that a madman whom wants to kill thousands of Americans because he feels the country to be evil, should be given not only the right to have weapons of terrible power and destruction, but he should be given more?!? America really went into Vietnam because of their oil. Thats the exact same for a lot of the wars that America went into. And brought other countries into.

Iraq, is another very oil filled country.

Personally I've never heard of Vietnam being oil filled, but I know that we have a greedy country so I believe you. I also think that if we do invade Iraq we should use it and rob it of its oil, they arent using it. I also agree with you when you say that we havent had many good presidents, then again how many world leaders are good at what they do anyway. But what it all comes down to is, I think we should invade and you don't. You have your reasons and I have mine. We have said what we want and now we can leave it up to the reader to decide on how they feel.

We are not trying to attack other countries because we want to. We are simply defending ourselves from danger from other countries to prevent more Sept 11th's. It is not just Bin Ladden it is all who permit a threat or a danger to people period!

To answer the oil question. America is using the oil as a strategic move. War is like a game, but in reality. If we can take over Iraq, of course we will have control of the oil. Just one of the many things that will happen if we do.

We dont pick on countries that dont cause a threat to us. We are not that type of nation. Oil is a strategic move yes, but not the sole purpose of going into war. America has done it before the have used they tactics of emperialism, to conquer kingdoms such as the one im living in which is now a state. Hawaii was once a kingdom until the U.S. took over. What I am getting at is. If the countries leader can be overthrown we would have control of that area, probably until they can establish a government. But to get the terrorist is are main concern here. The United Nations will do there best to do this. If we have to send ground troops so be it. We are not unprepared for a situation like this. If we can do it, I say lets go for it.

I wasn't being selfish, I was being an economical strategist. I believe we should go in, kill Sadaam and his sympathisers, give the Iraqi's a new government, and use their oil. They arent using a lot of it, and the oil they are using is used for evil. That country needs a regime change, we need Sadaam dead, and we need oil.

Killing three birds with one stone.
