It looks very, um, aliased and metalic... Which are not the things I liked about the original. I prefered the levels like Halo and Assault on the Control Room which showed off the beauty of Halo, not levels like 343 Guilty Spark and The Library which were mundane and un-spectacular. I do hope we don't see a return of the Flood, they really spoiled the last five levels. [SPOILERS] Although the name of the last secton of the Maw 'Beware of hitchikers' or similar suggests that a Flood will have hitched a ride on the Master Cheif's Longsword Interceptor.[/SPOILERS]

Oooh... them there screen shots look purty... I can't wait.

I thought it was referring to the Monitor. I never could tell... I guess we'll find out when it's released.

And don't worry, Tom. Bungie would be stupid not to show off some new enviroments. Those screenshots are most likely just the first level. Not to say there is anything wrong with the way it looks now... I think it's fine...

I haven't got the Halo game, but i have played it and its crap.

(1) - Where's the jiggling bodies when you riddle the corpses with bullets? Heh? I was promised jiggling bodies and lots of blood!!

(2) - I was also expecting talking Aliens!! Where they spoke in their natural dialect to trick you etc!!

(3) - The tactics taken up by the Aliens were appauling. There was two occasions were i actually felt challenged. One was were the Aliens hid in the corridors and tempted me with a little one...then when i walked down they all attacked!!

(4) - Why dont Aliens kill one another when a stray laser beam hits one of their alliences?

Halo 2 better be good...My standards are so high. Ugh.

1. Try using grenades and rockets next time.

2. They do speak. The only aliens that appear to speak in English are the grunts because the MC has a translation thingy in his suit.

3. I thought the tactics were quite good. Bombarding me with plasma and needles on Legendary usually works. Except on the Pillar of Autumn - the only one I've done on Legendary.

4. They do... If a grunt hits an elite, the elite kills the grunt. Anyway, it's plasma, not lasers. Lasers travel at the speed of light - if a laser was shot at you, you wouldn't have long to dodge it as opposed to plasma...

Im not the 'only one' im sure there are many others.

(1) - I have. All the do is fly backwards. Although, i do like it when a Grenade gets stuck to them, thats quite amusing.

(2) - Is the dialect correct though?

(3) - Yeh, but would that really happen? Aliens would conserve their ammo. The bad thing is, is that in games enemies dont run out of amunition which is a big shit i think.

(4) - Apologies, im not fluent in physics and/or laser/plasma technology.

And ANOTHER THING!! Now, this is a big thing which i am positive many, if not all, will want. Why dont we have replay things like in 'Driver' were you can direct what you did previous. That would be amazing in games with fighting, shooting etc. I am going to have that if i sell/make my game...And there is going to be a comp were the best directed replay's sent in, will be turned into FMV's. See, what a amazing offer that is!! Applaud me, go on...now please.

2. How the hell should I know? I don't speak elite (I don't speak 1337, either)

3. When you pick up ammo that an enemy dropped, they have differening levels of energy left. I should isolate a grunt some time and let it run out of ammo.

5. Interesting idea. I'm not sure it's suited to FPSs though.
The thing I'd like to see in Halo 2 is post-level statistics. This would be especially useful for co-op. After the statistics, there should be an option to play the next level or exit because once you finish a level, you have to wait for the next one to load. Aaaaages.

Hehehe... on Legendary, they don't need to conserve ammo. One round of needles usually does you in...

I dont really know why other developers have thought of that. The whole directing the replay. It wouldn't suit OW that much, unless they made some of the action real intense. Blade II for the X-Box would be a good candidate for example, as you have hordes of Vamps coming at you at once and you could basically make a film like replay. However, im also one for realism. Were if you stab a guy in the gut, he doesn't die instantly, were if you chop their legs off, they will crawl etc. That in Blade would be AMAZING...

One round of needles kills you on any difficulty level. The only time ir doesn't is when you have an overshield or you've got a sooped-up shield in multiplayer.

Or when you can dodge many of them, past normal is very hard to do...

I can't wait for this sequal. If its hard, my brother will have lots of fun trying to beat every level on ledgendary on this. Hes only about half done on the original. More stuff, better graphics (those screen shots look amazing!) and basicly a whole new game will rule. I have a feeling (this may not be correct in some eyes) but this can be a Goldeneye/Perfect dark scenario where the whole thing is revamped and better.

*sigh* and thee elites are speaking English. its just backwards... And pitch changed... If you put it forwards and make the pitches more ear friendly, you get the sarges voice saying more or less basic kind of phrases. I don't have the link to the sight anymore, darn. There msun't be much decoding to figure out the all to common "Arghhhh..." when they die though...

Yeh. We need more hard games!! Or hardish!! Gawwwwd, i think all the developers of the games should consult the public (Does any of them do that?) i know OWI keep in touch with us, but they prolly wont listen to us. I mean, who will be playing games like...ermmm...Gotham Racing? Only people who like cars will buy games like that, Ugh...foolish-foolish people. And games like 'Champ Manager' O-M-G!! Insanity...its out of order.
Staying on topic i have seen the screenshots of Halo 2, and it does look quite nice. The whole dark atmosphere etc...I like shtuff like dat...Aaaalso, does anyone know any websites that ACTUALLY reply to your questions? I used to be in contact with one, but i forgot the email when i changed accounts...Not even 'Alf' is replying to me now...how rude!! Also, what was that website were they gave you news? And is their any updates?

Are you sure? I must just be thinking of one chain reaction... but is that enough to kill you on Legendary?

Ha! Your brother is inferior! He must bow at my feet and wish he had my Legendary skillz!

Nah... I may have the AI beaten, but I still can't beat human intelligence. You know, you would think someone who beat all of the levels on Legendary would be better at multiplayer... but I get my ass kicked by people who have never played before...

2.I should isolate a grunt some time and let it run out of ammo..

1) I've heard Elites, Grunts ,and Hunters talk in perfect English.

2) I did that on the second level once, I killed every alien exept for 1 grunt, I backed him up against a wall, let him shoot me until he ran out of ammo, It was so funny! He curled up into fetal position and yelled:
:
Please don't kill me!!!
Then I waited about a minuit, he chucked one of those sticky plasma granades on me, I died. I should have killed the little bastard when I had the chance.

I don't like Sidewinder, probably because I haven't played with more than two other people. I'll tell you what's fun for three-player: All shotguns, 50% health, no shields on Derelict (Chill Out also works but it isn't as fun). I discovered this recently, it's the best multiplayer I've had! (not including Monkey Golf, obviously)

I'm playing HALO on Legendary myself. I played it on Normal and I kinda walked through the levels with few to no resistance. Legendary is much, MUCH harder. In the beginning I couldn't even get past the stairs part in the first level. In the later levels, I usually en up with like no ammo for 1 weapon and 3 rounds for sniper. So whoever says HALO is too easy, may I suggest to play it on Legendary
