In our technological age of televisions, video games, computers, and fast food, we have completely lost touch with the origins of ourselves and our planet. The vast majority of us are sucked up into abnormal growths on the face of the earth called "buildings" within which the chairman of boards that write out our paychecks decide the fate of the future, for us, and everything living. This sounds like the plot of the enourmously entertaining game setting called Oddworld, but it is also a reflection of our own sad state of being. There are probably millions of innocent teenagers and 20-somethings pushing away on their controllers, trying to get Abe or Munch to the next stage, while completely oblivious to the notion that it is a metaphor for the real ****ing world! Is this the plan of the designers and programmers? To give us another thumb to suck while we mass-produce away the resources our communities, and of Mother Earth; to let us sit blind-struck by more flashy pictures and pretty polygons while the last of our precious forests are being chopped down to be use as our next PC desks? I certain pray that there was something more to this wonder storyline of a savior trying to take back a world gone rampant with capitalism then just another 18 hours of gameplay.
I ask, are there any that hear the new dawn approaching? Any that hear the cries from sweatshops and office buildings, begging for someone to release them from their mental and physical prisons? Are there any that so dare to fight against their superiors and the status quo for their desires, and that of their loved ones? Is there any willing to fight the ****in' good fight?
For those of you who do, I say, "Hello, my countrymen! Where do we go from here?" While we may be bonded by similiar struggle, we have yet to truely start until we begin organizing and connecting, planning and crafting, working and playing, dreaming and hoping, together as a unifined resistance, instead of a divided existence. I invite you to the next world...

From here on out, I open the floor for political discussion and the political ramifications of those situations brought to light through the world of Oddworld.
