Happy Mac's Pathetic Thought Of The Day!

Hello there,

I just got a strange idea- what if Squeek, Nod, or the last guy was a species that could transform in to any species?

EXAMPLE #1: The dude needs to get across a large lake. He transforms in to a gabbit or a worryfish.

EXAMPLE #2: The dude sees a pack of scrabs up ahead. He transforms into a Alpha Scrab and freely passes.

EXAMPLE #3: The dude is in a Vykkers Labs balloon and hears the Vykkers coming. He transforms into an Intern and they pass without noticing him.

EXAMPLE #4: The dude is stranded on a tiny island with Abe and Munch, and they need to get off quickly to go rescue some other dudes. He transforms into a Sea Rex and they hop on his back. Wheee!

Yes, I know it's sorta like Abe possessing things, but it's easier and cooler, in my opinion.

Just a thought.

So, in fact, the entire game would be able to be played by this single character? Sounds rather boring. And think of the gameplay difficulties...how would you select which creature to morph into?

Yeah, I see what you're talking about. It would be too boring and easy. Sorry 'bout that.

What makes you think it will be a 'dude'? Although that is an interesting thought but I doubt OWI will make it that simple.

I think that all of the future heroes will be creatures that we've never heard of or creatures that we know barely anything about(like kinto slaves).

I guess I'm the oddball here, but I think that would be cool! An interesting thought, Mac. I don't think it would be too easy--the Inhabitants would never allow that

I mean look at Shrykul. One would think that a super-godlike-deathmachine that can kill anything on the screen would be boring out of this world. But with a little limitation, it's just an ultra-cool bonus that the hard-working player can look forward to.

I don't think it would be too hard when it comes to choosing between species. Look at how easy Gamespeak is, with all its grand variety!

I respect everybody's own unique opinion and see sense in everything posted so far. For me it's just too hard to fathom anything in an OW game I wouldn't love to death!

Well Tybs that just goes to show what a true fan you are.

As for my opinion on this subject i fine this "Dude" sort of all powerful. I wouldnt like the games to be that way.
Dont get me wrong Mac this is a subject that some have thought about but never mentioned. i like your imagination

Thanks for being polite, guys!

I looked back to the post and really thought it out, and it really is not well thought out! You guys are right!

I probably should have thought about it before I posted it, eh?

But thank you for being polite with your posts. I know a lot of people outside of the forums that would say"That sucks!" or "Man, that's stupid, you're crazy!" I'm very glad that manners and politeness (is that a word?) still exists. Thank you.

(Oh, yeah, and Oddsville- I didn't mean that it definitely would be a "dude". I was just typing like crazy and decided to put dude instead of he/she. Sorry for the confusion!)
