Wired Your Ideas for glukken vendo weapons!

This is my idea for a vendo weapon that can be used only for glukkens. It would be called Smokers. And heres what the logo would be. "Smokers light, puff and spit and watch the stogey go boom. Or for a fun treat watch your frendly glukken go boom! Smokers they are a blow out!"

I can see it now since the glukkens are constantly smoking cigars and cigerets, the glukkens turn there cigars into deadly weapons. Like an emergency weapon against Mudokins like Abe. He presses a button on the machine with his head like the Lulu fund and out comes a cigar that gets placed right inside the glukkens mouth. Then a little lighter attached to the vending machine comes out and lights the cigar for the glukken. The glukken takes a few puffs of the cigar and then he spits it out and once the cigar hits the ground it starts to spark and then blows up. Now I can see a crazy thing happening to glukken where for some odd reason the cigar back fires. What kind of ideas do you have for glukken vendo weapons?

(good idea)

What if Glukkons had mechanical arm attachments the vendo would be called Gluk Tanks because the machanical arms would be robust and powerful. With these arms they would be able to pick up things such as guns or they could simply use there arms as a battering mechanizm. The mechanical arms would operate Keneticly. The glukkon would simply have to think of what he wants for the arms to operated. The kenetic receptors on the arms will recieve the energy only from the host because it only operates when it senses the energy sent from the host.The Vendo would look different though the Glukkon would have to step in a small stall then press the activate button with his head the arms will then be attacht to the Glukkon. The arms are sealed on to the glukkon by special receptor clamps that will stay on the Glukkon. It can only be taken off by going back to the Vendo and pressing the button again wich will cause the machine to turn off the clamps and storing it back for others to use.

its something i have always thought of before

Why do glukkons need weapons? The fact that glukkons walk on their 'hands' shows that OWI wanted to emphasise the fact that glukkons don't do anything. They have sligs to be their bodyguards (at least in AE, they do).

Exactly. And if they didn't wear strait-jackets they wouldn't need bodyguards either, what with their claws and powerful kick.

I am thinking of something more like an emergency resource. Like if all else fails like Sligs, Interns etc where they all fail in the protection of the glukken. He can simply go to this resource and simply defend himself from the impending threat. Not to say it would be truely effective but it would be considered a last resort for the glukken. Kind of like a Fire extinguisher. They are there just for comfort and they would use them only in extreme situations. Like if all of your security has been killed. A minor personal security for ones self just so the glukken can relax in such situations. Thats all.

I think if Gluks really needed to defend themselves (they would have to have there suit off.) then they could kick their enemy with either one or both of thier legs, kinda like a Kangaroo?

I think that the Brewmaster is just watching the guage because time's already run out - like in the Boiler Run, I think it's meant to take Abe exactly three minutes to get through the SoulStorm Brewery Ender. That's why nobody's bothering turning off the boiler, it's too late.

And it may interet you all to know that in early design of Abe's Exoddus, Glukkons carried chainguns with them.

Where the smeg do you find out these things, Max? I'd've loved to see that... it wouldn't fit in with the ideas about Glukkons we now have, but it would have made the gameply more interesting.
Are there any pictures that you know of of Glukkons with guns?

I don't have any pictures, I'm afraid, it was one of those really early thoughts that designers come up with that last long enough to be significantly interesting, but never gets anywhere. Like Mudombies.

Hey they just might be in Fearitales! I never thought of that. Anyways Mudombies are basicly Mudokon zombies that where ment to wake up the spirits in the early plot of AE, heh got this little bit of info from Max.
